Hello y'all! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these past few months! If you're getting a little bored during quarantine, I hope this new update can bring you some more entertainment! owo/

This is another update focused on Owen's route. While it's rather short, totaling at around 16 pages, it's got about 12 new illustrated scenes and is very story-dense and action packed! Let me know what y'all think! :D

As mentioned in previous dev blogs, Repeat will be going into a temporary hiatus after this update while I begin development on a second VN project (it will still be hosted on this Patreon page). After working on Repeat nonstop for 5 years, I feel like I've stagnated and have been growing increasingly frustrated with my own work, so I feel like this new project should give me a creative breath of fresh air. Thank you all for understanding! I will be posting regular updates about the new VN on this Patreon page and on the Patreon Discord server.

Also, CW: there are scenes of gun violence in the new update so view at your own discretion, especially considering recent events.

Man, what the f!? That's how you end it?! Kudos to the art, it shows why you took awhile with the update. Shocked you went ahead with the foreshadowing of two certain someones though, guess 3 if we count the hoody from last update. I'd say more, but don't want to spoil it for others so I can direct message you. Seriously, this was a great and cool unexpected birthday surprise.

It was much needed. We had a Beta launch for our own game the same day, and it...was not well. More on par of an alpha, which was due 6 weeks ago.

I can only imagine now that Heather Adlai's last words were "A plague on both your houses". That's quite a lot of action happening in one update. Feels like we're in a new phase of the story now, with Euca finding himself in far deeper than he expected in an organized-crime conflict (and well outside what falls under a normal summer program experience :P). And to think that in another timeline, they spent this night cuddling calmly in Owen's dorm after a rather calmer meeting with Oleander. I admittedly was expecting Samuel to hotwire a car for their escape, given his particular set of skills. I am a bit surprised that the Loreleis apparently consider Owen to be the mastermind behind the most recent attacks on them. Owen has gone dark for years at this point, living a quiet, secluded existence and trying to avoid them more than anything. Whilst they have at least two known enemies; Morse and the Black Cat, who have caused them issues in the past and have the skills and motive to take their vendetta up a notch. And Morse works with at least a handful of sources, and most of the city holds at least a bit of disdain towards the Loreleis. Feels more like they've got quite a few known and potential enemies, like resistance cells against an authoritarian government (which is kinda fitting, given they sort of run the city). Surely the quiet kid who's never been anything but quiet wouldn't be number one on their suspect list? And lastly, with at least a few casualties in the battle for escape from Gerania, I'm pretty sure that meets the criteria for a school shooting. Wonderful, the place will be swarming with journalists by morning :P. All in all, I loved the update, and it packs quite a bit for a short one. Looking forward to the next, especially given you ended on a cliffhanger.

Aaaah thank you for your deep comments after every update, I always have a blast reading them <3 Owen's route has a lot of moving parts and factions, like you said. I hope that in the future I can mobilize every piece into a storm that'll determine the future of the Lorelei family. Heather Adlai would be proud :3

This is the same build as the one currently on Itch.io, and the last build since Repeat went on hiatus. There haven't been any new builds since, sorry!
