Happy holidays guys! Sorry for the long wait, the last few weeks have been a stress-filled hurricane for me, but I finally managed to get the update out! This update's scripted totaled up to 33 pages, the largest update I've written in a while. Hope you all enjoy it!

After this update, Sissel's story will be taking a backseat while I focus on Owen's Route. Thank you all for supporting Repeat, none of this would be possible without you <3

Changelog:

  • Save buttons are now bigger and more accessible! Android users, rejoice!
  • 4 New modified versions of pre-existing Hershel sprites.
  • Redrew 2 of Hershel's old sprites from scratch (because frankly the old versions sucked and I was too embarrassed to use them).
  • 3 New naked versions of Sissel's sprites.
  • 2 New Owen Sprites (in hindsight they're slightly off model and I plan to redraw them in the near future)
  • 2 New sprites for new characters!
  • Sissel's Route Part B: Day 12 is now 65% complete!

Great update as usual. I loved going through it all. I always feel like a part of the story when I'm playing through this game. Sissel is definitely my favorite choice among the group, so I'm sad that he'll be taking a backseat, but I can't wait to see where Owen's story goes.

Really needed this today. Dont know if you can relate but am 3d modeling characters and am weight painting. Losing my mind here and seeing this brightened my day immensely. Thank you, and enjoy your new year.

Oof, I feel ya. I did some rigging and weight painting for my school projects a couple weeks ago. Love it when you rotate the ankle joints just a bit and the entire upper torso twists off the body lmao. Good luck with your weight painting work! qwq

Sorry for the wait! Phillip's route tackles some very difficult subjects such as sexual abuse and trauma recovery, so I just wanted to take extra time to do these subjects justice. Also, I would just like to warn everyone who's hyped for Phillip's route simply for a sex scene that they will be very disappointed.

No like i`m interested in sexual abuse, i just think that romantic relationship with him would be wery cute. Even without sex X) By the way, with my complaints i completely forgot to thank you for update! Hershel made me literally freeze in shock. It felt really tough &gt;&lt;

Actually, there is! Did some deep diving into my phone and research. When you download it as an app for android, the save files are universal. I put my windows saves onto my phone through some system mingling and now I got everything on my phone and can carry over to windows.

My goodness, that's one hell of a rude awakening after a really great date night. Is what I'm seeing actually happening or am I having a really bad hangover? Speaking of bad, I'm liking the new sprite for Oleander Lorelei. He doesn't look quite as warm or approachable anymore. More of a cool, calm, but apathetic and ruthless leader, like the mafia boss that he is. I'm not really sure if I'd count this second timeline as a success just yet? Sure, we managed to soften the blow a bit at the family reveal. One wonders if their relationship can be managed once they have time to focus on it again. At least the cafe's still standing and we've got Lorelei money and the Black cat on our side for what's coming up (Philip and Owen are still the best vigilante buddies, as always). I'm eager to see what sort of plan they come up with. Though I do admit I wonder about Owen's fortune. He's certainly spending a whole lot if he'll pay Hershel's debt pretty much on a whim. And he doesn't seem to have income, so as big as his inheritance is, surely it's finite, like a lottery winner's prize. Maybe he has a good investment portfolio? Lastly, when Sissel complains about Hershel not accepting help, I must admit I'm resisting the urge to say that he's just like his nephew. Seems like it's a trait that runs in the family. A family that wants to make its own success is admirable, but hopefully they're learning through these experiences that there's gotta be a line. Mrs. Corlisse is increasingly turning into one of the sweetest teachers I've ever heard of, real or fictional. Glad you could find the time to release an update, though I hope you at least had the time for something resembling a holiday these past couple of weeks. Remind me to send you a stress ball one of these days. Best of luck in the start of the semester, and hope you don't get too swamped.

I've probably said this a dozen times already but reading your comments and thoughts for each update always fills my little writer heart with such joy &lt;3 Just a small correction though! That new sprite isn't of Oleander Lorelei, just another member of the Lorelei family. We're gonna be meeting a lot of the family soon in Owen's route haha. I'm glad you're examining Sissel's situation critically! I had a lot of people messaging me assuming everything's all fine and dandy after Sissel's date when in actuality it was just the calm before the storm. As for Owen's fortune, he's pretty much as filthy rich as one can get. If you remember, his mother inherited the entire Adlai fortune after the family was massacred, and that was passed down to him. It's a pretty big and wealthy family ;w; Accepting help from loved ones is definitely a theme I wanted to explore in Sissel's route and I'm glad you caught on to it! It's really satisfying to see as a writer haha &lt;3 Anywho, I hope you're having a fantastic New Year! I love hearing your thoughts after every update, it's always been a something I look forward to after working on a big story session!

Apologies for the late reply, but I had a flight to catch and didn't get home till late. On top of that the school project is a being a pain but this has been a nice way to lighten the mood. Now for the comments! Your story was one of the first I tried out, and I must say yours holds a bar above many for how you tell it. The unorthodox grammar at times combined with the writing gives it a real emotion most VN's lack I find. Barely any go to the level of depth you do in making emotion, from the size differences, to the sprites matching their narrative's style. It's all quite amazing and its why your updates are the ones I am always quick to hop on and follow because I just like the way you tell the story compared to others. Regarding the update, good call with the cal before the storm approach, even more with how there is still more story to be told and that this is I assume only the beginning of the middle part of your tale. The Remnant is still out there, but I see the Lorelei's themselves are gonna be center stage for this part of the story, which I'm gambling is a crossroad part for all three routes. Adding the new family member sprites too was a nice touch, and that Owen's father is still the head huncho but not in a way we think is neat too. I am only guessing, but his method of leadership seems a calm evil going off Owen's previous version route. Don't see that kind of villain too often done right, so I hope you get it well written! The relationship between Phillip and Owen has evolved naturally too nicely, it's nice seeing the two bond and that their shred view of the Lorelei's binds them together. Although I am a little concerned because we went back in time and while my memory is a little fuzzy, they were still working stuff out even after the contest right? Because at the camp trip they seemed to be at odds then too a bit and that was a few days after the contest ended badly in the first timeline. Maybe I am overthinking it, but just seems strange how buddy buddy they got compared to the first timeline. That being said, totally down for those two getting real close to balance out that between you and Sizzel. Jenny's lack of a call was a kicker too, even more because no one knows of her situation regarding her health except her grandmother. And speaking of her, how do you not have a sprite for her! She's the most supportive character alongside Hershal and Jenny, but she ain't got not pictures! Shame! Shame I say! Jokes aside its cool she knows that Sizzel and Hershal are related and she pieced it together from you and Sizzel's actions. I have feeling I know where you are going with Echo though. I don't want to say for fear of spoiling it for the others, but their are some things that add up throughout the tale. Should be cool seeing that unfold, though I hope you plan on having all the wishes meet each other at some point. Every main character seems to have one, so be cool seeing them try to save things from going bad to worst. As for the main star himself, Sizzel is one of my standout favorites among every VN I have read so far. I appreciate how you write him, as someone who is in a similar boat to him romantically, I am not big on getting googly eyed over guys as well. The joke at the lake between your twos relationship name made me laugh, and it fit him nicely too cause he's romantic but not expressing it that way. I was worried he was going to find something there from the previous timeline though, before he went into that coma and was a very dark place for the story to go. I hope you are going to address how he got in that dumpster and was found though, be coo seeing someone unexpected showing up and being semi responsible for his fate. Unless I missed that, in which case...oops. Thanks again for brightening my week man with this update. Really helped my mood and I can't wait to see you continue this story in the other routes! If I can make a request though, maybe a feature to dop us off at the parts where things get romantic? I have saves pinpointng the exact points on every route and from previous updates. But now that the others are getting some need love, be nice to have a gallery or something to help focus in on when things get heated. May this new year be grand for you!

You have said it a dozen times, but I never get tired of hearing it. It makes my day that I can manage to inspire someone on that level. So thank you. Say what you want about the Loreleis, but their certainly can maintain a fairly consistent dress code, I guess. All that's missing is a rose lapel pin and they'll have the mobster look down pat. Perhaps an orange rose. And thanks for the holiday wishes. It was a fairly calm one on my end, mostly involving watching a bunch of movies and shows. Hope you've got some time to relax soon, and good luck with Owen's route.

Comment 1: Dear Shirokoi. I had heard about your game a long time ago on youtube and itchio, but due to laziness I didn't play it or at least watch an entire gameplay. BUT three days ago I downloaded it and decided to play it and I only have one thing to say... WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE UNTIL NOW ??? (Watching anime and playing other things XD) But seriously, "Repeat" is one of the most interesting Visual Novels I've found so far, and believe me, I've played many games and visual novels. The only thing that hurts me is to see that it is not finished yet, but I see that it is not due to laziness, on the contrary, it is due to hard work and perfection. I saw "Owen Cut Content" (I didn't know about the sex scene with Samuel, but I don't complain about seeing it XDXD), and it showed that it was old content for several reasons but most importantly it proves that your game grows and evolves with you, both in depth of characters, as plot complexity, and art. Your game will surely be a 100% complete game, but I can say that it is a fact that will be worthwhile and will exceed our expectations. I thank you that you have and are creating this fantastic work, and I recommend that you put a price on it when you finish it, this is one of those games that make you want to give your money for how gratifying and satisfied it makes you feel. Speaking of money, because I loved the game, I decided on patreon, although I will probably have to be tier 1$ at some point, but I still want to see your content. And as this comment is getting long, I will leave a second separate comment to talk about the game. Thank you!

Comment 2: I love the concept, themes, and symbolism of the game: Wishes, Time Travel, Hidden Past, Heroism, Personal Problems, Secrets, and probably more things I haven´t yet discovered. I like your art, and I also like how it shows that your art evolves (It shows when comparing Sprites and CGs, and other Sprites), not to mention that I love furry art, but I have noticed that sometimes you make small mistakes, like in the sex scene with Sissel (On his date, after Euca returns in time), in a CG Euka was naked and just the next scene Euca had his shirt on, or in the sex scene with Samuel in "Owen Cut Content" , Euca didn´t have his tail of Arctic Fox (Honestly, I found it funny XD), but they aren´t serious mistakes besides I am sure you will fix it. (And I love the character's Tarot card art (^_^)) I love all the characters in the game, both for their personality, past, personal problems, and extravagances; but what I like most is that your characters are complex, unique, and deep, and hide much more than they can see at first glance (For example: That most of them met in their childhood, Jinny knew everyone except Euca until recently, and probably more things). The only thing I don´t like is that about your characters is that the NPC don´t have sprite, otherwise perfect. It is impossible not to fall in love with your characters (^///^). And the last, secrets and hidden plot, if something I love more than games and stories are games and stories with secrets to discover, that let you imagine and theorize, and that surprise you by discovering their secrets (For example: The rope with the that Echo holds his camera looks like a suicide rope). I have my theories, but I love that "Repeat" is making me create theories, and I will surely love more to see which ones were correct and which ones were wrong. By the way, I had the theory that Euca's parents were negligent and I am glad (and I am sad for Euca) to see that I was right, I want to see more things about Euca past, but the comment is already quite long so I will leave my theories for later. Anyway I really like "Repeat", and you have earned my love and admiration. I hope we get along. Thank you very much!
