Samantha is definitely settling into her new home. Sure, there was a great deal of shock, anger and frustration. but, eventually, she began to enjoy her life. Sure,  she couldn't get out as much (at least not as anything other than a non-anthro cat) but, she could still read and watch TV and there was ample food and no rent. Also, she was learning her place in the magic world.

For her part, Sarah was generous and kind mistress. Samantha's new duties as a familiar were not onerous and, being bi-sexual, Sarah taught Samantha many things about her new form and gender. 

But, Sarah was learning that having a cat as a familiar had many benefits, was sometimes a trial. Samantha, though she was still mostly human, was, at heart, a cat...
