For a warmongering race, titties probably don't seem like the most useful things in the world, and you'd be right. However they're not always fighting. They've been at this for millennia. War is their art, religion, and way of life. They understand and respect it, as well its its effects on their minds long-term. Their bodies were made specifically to deal with it, but there's no amount of augmentations that can stop things like PTSD or Battle shock from setting in. They take time-off very seriously. What they also take very seriously, is hardcore fucking, which, aside of from fighting, is a Soro's favorite pastime. Their minds are relegated to the brain case, so swapping their entire bodies for ones more suited to attracting mates isn't all that uncommon.

Speaking of mates, did I mention that Soro are a female-only race? Because they are, which means they NEED to search the galaxy for strapping young men to repopulate their race. They're biologically capable of mating with anything, however the whole 'robot body' thing makes that kind of hard though, so while they have the physical hardware down there, and you can 'insert your seed' so speak, it's only held in stasis until they can return to a breeding facility. There babies are grown artificially, but that's another story. Suffice it to say the right to breeding facilities is earned through many years of combat, and once they've earned that right, they're allowed quite a bit of time off to search for a mate. Passing on your warrior genes is pretty important, you know, before you step on a plasma grenade in battle. Some choose to, some don't.

Random Funfact: In battle, the colors are indicative of ranking. Black bodies are the cheapest and most common. White is the next step up, used by those are ideally very skilled and are adept at keeping it pristine through long campaigns as a mark of pride. Gold and silver trim are for very high ranks. You can basically get any color you want though once you're cleared for white armor.
