So this takes place on the same planet where Sebastian and Maxim reside, and things in that world tend to be a little...porny. One of the most common types of creature on the planet are small little suck machines like these. They come in many shapes and sizes. There are thousands of known species, but most function the same way. Tiny, fast, stealthy. They ambush you, latch on and suck like there's no tomorrow. More often than not, they're entirely harmless, though a bit of a nuisance when you're not looking for them.

Normla is definitely looking for them. Now this is science.
