I'll start with the good news:

  1. The new story is almost finished and I'm dropping a teaser today after work. The story itself will be posted in a few days after I'm done re-reading it. It turned out to be short, without sex scenes, but with a lot of lore.
  2. I found a new workflow for image generation that might be helpful for those interested. I updated my A1111 to 1.6.0, and although I don't really use SDXL yet, I found that the workflow with a refiner works like a charm with SD 1.5. Previously, I started with 616x768 resolution and generated a few thousand images, sorted them out on my phone during the day, regenerated the ones I liked with Hi Res fix, then moved them to Img2Img and used a different model to add details and alter the style a bit. However, last night I tried a different approach. I loaded a model as usual, doubled the number of steps to generate an image, and doubled the number of steps for Hi Res fix too. Then, in the refiner, I chose the second model and kept the ratio at 0.5. This process takes quite some time to generate a single image, but the results are kind of nice. I'll post some pics later in the evening (after work :D).

Now to the bad news, which is kind of connected to the second good thing.

After updating to A1.6.0, my original workflow got completely messed up :D As I mentioned before, I usually generated a lot of images, sorted them out during the day on my phone, regenerated the ones I liked, and kept doing this until I had decent-quality pics. However, now, whenever I try to regenerate my own images with the same settings, they turn out completely different. I'm sure it's some kind of bug that will be fixed, but right now, it's hard to make images considering how little free time I have after work.

Just to clarify, it doesn't mean I won't do images anymore. I will do them at the same rate as before (I'll do my best, at least), I'm just sharing some issues I'm having at the moment.
