Summer 2017 Update! New Projects! (Patreon)

 First off, welcome to all my new Patrons! You all rock! I can't wait to show you whats new and coming up! Remember the $1.50 tier lets you vote on comics for the month, so you'll see the new one for May very soon, once this month is processed.

I currently have two bonus comics from March and April. March's is almost done, I'll show a preview tonight, and April's will be done during May. I'm behind because of The Costume Shop Season 1 Kickstarter, which involves me going back to re-do earlier pages, and prepare the book, and a whole new book for printing for June / July, but rest assured, even with how stressful it is, everything will get done.

With The Costume Shop Chapter 4 over, I'm in the process of writing Chapter 5. So that comic won't start for a while, I'm taking a break on it to plan out the next Season of the story. Good things are worth the wait though. I'd rather deliver something of quality. Chapter 5 is called Cake Wars, and will be a fun action chapter of a battle between Franklin and Umbra, with Finn caught in the middle. Desert monsters based on cakes and pastries and sweets will be attacking and eating folks, so it'll be fun.

I have 20 new pages / strips of The Only Gay Human In Space, which I may re-title "What Happens In Space" if that is not already taken. Those pages I'll work on slowly, as that's the second most requested and subscribed story of mine on Tapastic.

I'm developing a new short series about a gay / kinky super hero and the crazy kinky situations he gets into fighting a villain. His name is Kid Quicksand, and looks like a sexy Jungle Explorer, fighting against the evil Doctor Kinkshame, who wants to rid the world of all kinks, but seems to always trap the Kid in so many of them. It'll be focused on comedy, and a sketchy art style so I can put it out quickly.

Jace and Cripes is sort of half written, it's not really highly requested, so I'm not going to continue it until I have a larger audience, but it's always there to keep working on as a backup any time.

I'll be tabling at two conventions. In July, you can find me at ConBravo, still waiting on approval, but I'll have a table, and most likely be doing two panels, and maybe one event. In September, I'll be at Word On The Street in Toronto, with many books, and just selling / doing commissions all day. In October, I'll be at Disney World. Not doing anything, just on vacation, but I'll have a day or two off of the parks, if anybody wants to meet to say hi!

The very special thing I wanted to talk about was "Monsters & Mayhem" a stage adaptation of The Costume Shop. It takes place non-canon in the future of the story. There are new characters that work with Finn, a new costume, and Franklin's step mother! The script is almost complete, and we are casting characters right now. I'm so excited, because on it's own it will be a fun story for anybody to enjoy, and is super hilarious. We'll be performing it at Second City in Toronto, which is a fantastic, and surprisingly cheap venue! More details once rehearsals start.

And once The Costume Shop Season 1 is done and printed, and shipped out, I'll start taking commissions again for the summer. Maybe like 3 or so, or 1 at a time, so I don't overwhelm myself.
