Welcome to December 2023 (Patreon)

Hello all Patrons, those of you who have been here thanks for being here, and to all the new folks, welcome! Let me give you a VERY brief rundown of what's going to happen this month!

Covid

If you didn't know, I had Covid all of last month. It was absolute hell. I was hot, sweaty, dry, and lacked sleep and energy, which meant I wasn't able to focus or concentrate on any work. I am mostly recovered, just a tiny lingering cough, but I'm much much better!

Commission Queue

This was the big pain point for me all year was not being able to keep up with my commission queue. I had people who backed the Kickstarter redeeming large amounts of comics, and Patrons who continue to redeem credits for comics, all while needing to pick up new commissions to be able to stay afloat each month.

It has been the most overwhelming part of this year, and something needs to change going into next year so I don't end up feeling this way all the time. I need to balance both my work and commissions while still paying the bills each month.

Jobs

I genuinely started looking for a part time job around my area for the next few months, but everybody started holiday hiring back in September, and none of the places I applied to even got back to me so.. *SHRUGS* times are tough, and people who already have high paying jobs will never understand that. I'm just going to continue doing the absolute best I can here, and really push hard into that Kickstarter in February!

THE FUN STUFF! COMICS!

The Costume Shop is fully remastered, and starting in January I'm going to re-upload pages with new dialogue and backgrounds and art and shading to gear people up for the February Kickstarter. I'll continue to keep ya'll updated here. It will be a separate thing from this Patreon, but ya'll here will be a bunch of extra free stuff if you back it.

Kid Quicksand as I've said I have like 5 more pages left in this mini story, before I'm gonna prepare to package it up, maybe make it a stretch goal as part of The Costume Shop Kickstarter, as I have enough pages to pop it into a book, though I might just continue to work on more short sequences on a semi-regular basis.

Alex In Wonderland keeps falling behind on my plate. I have a LOT of it written, and I'd like to get around to it once my queue gets more empty.

Funhouse of Frights as I've said is also fully written, just need to press on with it.

Dick Wonky's Candy Factory is another really fun thing I wanna get to cause I can't get the images out of my head, and with Wonka coming out, could be fun to crank out a bunch of kink comics and art semi-related to that.

That's about it for now!

Thanks for being here, I'm not going to do a yearly wrap-up as I normally do, because I don't know whats going to happen next year, and to plan so far ahead means I'll be subconsciously letting myself down every time I miss out on doing something. I'll take it a few months at a time!
