I'm here with an update about the Hair Colors thing I was doing. It will be postponed for a bit due to me not having much interest on working on it at the moment, and it impeding my work flow. (I still have interest in working on it more in the future, just not right now!)

I realized it was heavily effecting me subconsciously because I had the idea in my head that I needed to work on it right now, but due to not much interest for it everything I was working on was going nowhere, including the hair color art.

I think a general rule of thumb I'll have going forward for drawing stuff for Patreon/Twitter is to not worry too much about my plans, or make too many promises for certain things, and just draw what feels right to do at the time. I think this way more art gets done for you all and it doesn't put too much stress on me to get specific things done if I'm not able to at the time.
(I'll still do character suggestion posts, because I do enjoy doing those at the right times)

Doing stuff for Patreon is still in a weird place for me (even though I've been doing it for a while now lol) so I'm just trying to find a good balance to where it's not stressing me out too much, and you don't have to wait 2 weeks for a simple sketch.

Apologies for the long post, but it felt like something I needed to post about as I've been feeling very stressed, and I have been sick a lot the past month, so I've had a lot of time to think about this. I put the idea of "Do the Hair Color art this very instant" behind me and instantly started feeling better and have drawn a lot just in the past 5 days. Thank you for reading all of this, if you did. I'll have more art posted later tonight lol

You do what you need to. I believe your priorities should always be whatever is best for you.

Art is something that comes from the soul. It's not a regular 9-5 job, where you can "phone it in" if you're not in the mood. I'd personally rather wait weeks for something special (like your art always is), than expect you to grind out something mediocre and soulless just to keep to an imaginary schedule. Creativity can't be scheduled, and shouldn't be.
