The setting of your story, was it one you dreamt up yourself? Or did you get inspiration from things like books/movies and friends?

Substance abuse and recreational drugs/substances are also typical topics that revolve around the underworld organizations as well as fortune 500 organizations with their high-life experiences. Are they a common aspect of this setting and what are some new/unique types that are out there?

What form of "Identification" is most commonly used in this setting? Are there different forms depending on your occupation/status? How is it unique/exclusive to this setting? Can it be forged?

Is there an abundance of locations? I find the best part of a science fiction setting is taking in the scope of the universe.

On earth, the planet as a whole (generally speaking) has aspirations towards the stars. Regardless of our equal hate for each other it also seems we have an equal ambition to get the hell off this planet. Within this setting are there any joint-effort/universal ambitions that the planet may have as a whole in achieving?

Are there any unique religions and/or common beliefs on the planet that are confirmed or unconfirmed by the majority? Got to love the "cloak and dagger" conspiracies about mass belief or even the humbling knowledge of true deity/religious confirmation.
