Content

As much as I adhere to the concept of "don't judge a book by it's cover", it is unfortunate that YouTube doesn't work that way.
The more I have been doing YouTube as a creative outlet for my monkey brain I feel like I have to put roughly the same amount of effort thinking about what the video thumbnail should be just as much as what the content of the video should be.
The attractiveness of the thumbnail and title is literally what drives me and you to watch a new video by a new creator that you might have never thought to watch before. The more attractive the title and thumbnail is, the more willingness you are to click into the video. That's just how YouTube works in general.
However, after people click into the video, you need to give them a reason to stay, and that's when the quality of the video comes into play. In conclusion, the thumbnail + title + maybe first 10 seconds of the video works in conjunction with one another. I want to attract people to watch the video, but at the same time I hope the edit would be just enough to keep them watching it through :)
