The echo of a maddening chorus of laughing men burst on forth and the eyes of the creature opened in a terrified expression, his body stiff like a board, his hand unable to hold onto his weapon who fell on the ground with a clang. Grinning, the warrior raised the flail again...”

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This flail has an whimsical but well crafted design. The heads of the flail are adorned with a grotesque, exaggerated laughing face on each side, hanging at the end of a long chain. On a successful hit, an echoing cacophony of laughter burst out of the weapon striking deep in the mind of the target with a paralyzing force.

Madness Echo: Whenever you score a critical hit against a creature of Large size or smaller, the target must make a DC 15 Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d8 psychic damage and becomes Incapacitated until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and is not incapacitated.
