I'm not into labeling and all the sub-genres in metal but i wouldn't consider this Thrash at all. It's very similar to prog metal or symphonic. With that said I enjoyed it. Metal bands that you have reacted to so far from Seattle area...Queensryche, Metal Church....

Nevermore were a unique entity that were hard to pigeonhole; vocalist Warrel Dane was a one-off and died far too young of a heart attack whilst recording his second solo album in Brazil.
