Should "I tired to fight" be "I tried to fight"?

Furlop

Oren's face just about sums it up. Jesus.

Mmm ... there were dark moments, bloody and sad in these 126 pages but ... Teagan, I must admit that it is very sad and profound. to hunt to survive yes I understand, but to be cruel and sadistic to have fun no ... (the message is hard) the depth of this comic is really interesting. very beautiful and good work.

What does the red speech bubble mean?

I dread to think what that snap implies ... p_q

Balou3155

I think the color bubbles are meant to indicate a particular language, not all animals speak the same language in this comic.

Just like guillaume said! Predators speaking to predators have red, while herbivores have green, and white is for when everyone can understand. I retroactively did it for the wolves waaay earlier in the comic, but this is probably the first time it's happened since then. :]

Also I know the cougars are mean but they're also adorable and I love tham qnq

To think to be put in a position that killing your child is a kindness to letting being tortured to death. I think the sadism of the Lions and this whole situation is like a gut punch. When everything is taken from you, and you're mentally tortured like that, It's such a powerful motivation. This story is so heartbreaking, but at the same time I'm glad everyone is given such proper motivations for their behaviors.

I have to agree, it's had some heartbreaking moments but this is both the stuff of nightmares and dreadfully grounded in reality. Hemlock is a broken rabbit, punished for surviving, ironically Rask and her have a lot in common but the trauma is too much to do anything but be reactive.

No argument there. Teag did say she expected Hems' backstory to put more people in her corner and this is definitely the kind of event that explains her attitude. I do say explain and not justify, because Hems is being heavily prejudiced about Rask, despite his behavior in Stone Hollow so far, but as I've said on previous posts, both here and elsewhere, I am hoping Rask will be an opportunity for her to reconcile with her past. As you said above, they have a lot in common. Perhaps the realization thereof will come as a bittersweet resolution to her pwq

I expected Hemlock to have a dark backstory, but this is heart-wrenching T_T
