Now that I've kickstarted Patreon, it's time for a contest! Next month there will be an opportunity to get picked for a YCH.

The winner of this contest will receive this fluffy, yet menacing, kobold!
She is a runic artificer who has found a way to grind down runic-infused ruins into a powerful dust. She can use the dust to conjure up temporary items, such as stepping stones that stay in the air, or even weapons and shields. The more complicated the item is, the longer it takes to conjure. She stores her runic dust in a hollow egg shell, which fits into a safe metal container on her tail.

In order to participate, you must answer the prompt:
Why does she store her runic dust in an egg shell?
Come up with a silly, weird or logical lore explanation.

From the dawn of time eggs were being produced in this world. They have slowly begun to evolve over time to become stronger and sturdier. Compared to a glass bottle an egg depending on who made it is like a ball of steel. She has managed to use many techniques passed down generation to generation. On where to find the unique creatures that lay the eggs and how to properly transform the eggs into Vessels for the potions. Making them the ultimate container for the elixirs and potions. But besides the eggs being strong and sturdy they provide many different things. They allow spells to easily be written on the sides to be able to improve the capability of the potion. But the eggs have the classic ability of increasing an objects longevity. They can last much longer then her competitors potions. Now in combat they can be used very well for offensive potions. As an egg the users can easily roll it down a small hill. Unlike a glass potion where it isn’t smoothly shaped and it can make a loud clanking noise due to the glass. Then overall she can explain to any buyers that the potions are also easy to differentiate because the eggs absorb the potions coloring to a degree, that they can easily be rolled to people. Then they are also easier to stack in storage compared to her competitors. Then that the eggs are also easy to drink despite the hard shell. Then how the offensive or explosive potions will explode when the time is right despite the hard shell. So no accidental potion breaking or usage. In the end the eggs provide many built in bonuses that help whoever bought the egg. Then helps her with storage due to how they are shaped.
