Arriving down at the river, Maddie peeled off her dress and laid it gingerly at the water’s edge. Already naked, Choru rushed into the water, taking a deep breath as she became accustomed to its coolness. Then, she immediately started trying to get the bigger chunks out of her hair. Maddie tried not to hyperventilate as she enjoyed this view. Sure, she’d gotten to experience the entire bouncy wagon ride from that horrid town with her crush riding nude next to her. But here, in the water, it seemed something more, something incredible.
Choru hadn’t noticed, and seemed focused on getting the smelly egg, grime, dirt, and who-knows-what-those-peasants-had-hurled-at-her out of her hair, and off her body. She wasn’t looking at Maddie.
Nervously, Maddie waded up behind her. She gently placed on hand on the cleric’s hip, and slowly slid the other up to her breast. Choru gasped. This was unexpected. But as the mage’s hand gently outlined her nipple, she decided to welcome it. While she generally considered the mercenary mage below her, her touch was gentle and exactly what she needed, as she washed away the dirt and humiliating memories of their sojourn in that wretched town.
She could feel the timid uncertainty of Maddie’s touch, so, to encourage her, she started gyrating ever so slightly, breathing audibly. She dropped one hand down and put it on Maddie’s, with an encouraging strength. Maddie, for her part, thought she had taken a gamble. And these sounds and movements were the signs that her bet had paid off.
She stepped in front of Choru and they shared an embrace and a long, deep kiss.
Choru was definitely welcoming, and as her breathing grew faster, Maddie led her over to a rock at the edge of the river, and sat her down. To the cleric’s surprise, the mage shoved her face between her outstretched legs and started to stroke her vigorously with her tongue.
“Oh, Maddie,” a frustrated Minna grumbled to herself, watching from the treeline. While one hand slid down inside the dwarf’s trousers, she nodded her head disapprovingly. “I hope ya know what yer doing. That pompous snake will rip your heart right out of ya.” In no small part, the dwarf was excited, imaging herself in the cleric’s position. But in spite of her arousal, she walked back to camp unsatisfied, too angry at Choru to enjoy watching.
Unaware that she was being watched, Choru moaned loudly as she came. Maddie kept stroking with her tongue until the cleric’s breathing slowed, then lifted her head, looking up, expectantly. Choru smiled, looked down at her, and climbed to her feet. Maddie wanted to say something, but she didn’t know what to say as she watched the cleric turn and walk back toward the camp.
Dejected, Maddie slid into her dress and followed, keeping her distance.
“Do you have that chest open yet?” Minna said to Velathra, who was chewing on a drumstick of some game bird Therliss had shot earlier.
“Oh, sure, it was an easy lock, took no time at all.”
“Well lock it again,” the dwarf said.
“But why?” “Just do it. Pretend it’s a hard lock.”
The elf nodded, and slammed the chest shut again.
