Bonus: Dacqoise Preview (Patreon)

When the Tale of the Three Swords ends, I plan to write and illustrate a prequel, where we meet some familiar characters before Mariana's epic march on the East.  Where did she get her army?  What adventures did some of her knights have?

The sleepy village of Dacqoise is known for its dairy products and its baked goods.  Some believe the local clay gives the small tributary of Cirrop River running next to the town a sweetness to the water, which gives the cow's milk and the goods baked with the river's water an almost magically sweet flavor.

While there may be a maiden or two in the village wishing for something more than this provincial life, Dacqoise is about to become the center of international political and military intrigue.  A conquering force, aware that an army travels on its stomach, has chosen it as the site of their invasion of the Kingdom of Plouffe.

If there's anything you want to see happen in the coming story, and I can find a way to fit it into the general framework I have developed, let me know.  Maybe a character type.  Maybe something that happens to a character.  I can't guarantee I'll work it in, but I promise to listen, and think about doing so.
