Sorry there aren't any vengeful villagers.  I'm working on a convincing Chinese peasant costume.  People tend to produce only Japanese stuff and stuff for Chinese Royalty.  I had to make up these Chinese warrior outfits from carious pieces of Western armor.  the panels of scale mail are actually flattened pauldrons.
