The conversation wasn't interesting at all. They were talking about things I didn't care about. So I stood at the door waiting for five minutes; the potion's effect was almost gone.

Because of my speed, I investigated most of the mansion, but now I only had two minutes left.

'10 minutes is too short...' I opened the goddess's store and then bought another potion. As soon as I'd bought it, I drank it and put the bottle in my inventory. As soon as I had finished drinking it, the door opened.

I didn't know the woman who came out, but she was a fairly ordinary-looking human.

It wasn't Heith. I didn't know this woman.

But what was more important was who was inside the room. I snuck inside as soon as I noticed who it was. It was Hedin. I had finally found him. I confess it was easy.

I was exaggerating.

"Hmmm..." Hedin was reading some documents at a wooden table. I approached the table to see what it was, and it was nothing more than some details about the dungeon and the Freya Familia.

It looked like financial data.

'I didn't know he took care of such matters... I don't think that's normal...'

I sighed and noticed Hedin's penetrating gaze fell directly on me. I thought he was seeing me, but he quickly continued reading his document as if nothing had happened.

'I thought it was impossible to detect anything... But if I make a sound, I can be discovered.' I gave a mischievous grin and then walked over to Hedin. His long golden hair was down, and I held it.

I grabbed his hair and then pulled weakly.

As soon as I did, Hedin was startled and looked back, but nothing was there.

I played with him for a few minutes like a child. I have to confess, it was a lot of fun.

"What the hell is going on?" Despite being nervous, Hedin didn't lose his composure.

"It's me," I told him. Simultaneously, I took my sword out of my inventory and swung it towards his neck. My speed was too great, and Hedin could hardly react in time.

He narrowly escaped instant death by some miracle.

"Urghh!" Hedin made a strange sound as his throat began to gush blood, and his life began to disappear slowly. His vocal cords were cut so that he couldn't say anything.

He then started casting some magic that looked like healing magic, so I stopped him.

"I won't let you do that." I kicked him directly in the head. I didn't use too much force so as not to kill him instantly. "Damn it, the potion will still last two minutes... I wanted you to see my face before you died..."

I said to Hedin as if disappointed.

His eyes looked at me with hatred, even though he couldn't see me. He knew where I was because I held him by his hair and faced him. It was fun to watch him slowly die.

The gleam in his eyes began to fade, and then I heard the door to the room open.

'Oops~~' I walked away from Hedin and quickly bought another potion.

It was the same woman as before. As soon as she entered the room, she despaired that Hedin was already dead. I confess it was a little sad to see this unknown woman crying over his body.

'That was so easy... But I need to take his head....'

I approached and then hit the woman on the neck, making her faint. Then I used my sword and took off Hedin's head. Watching Hedin's head floating around the room would be funny.

(Since I don't exist)

"So..."

Since he was already dead, I tried storing his head in my inventory. To my surprise, it worked. His head was stored in my inventory, and the description of the "item" looked like this.

[ Hedin Selland's head ]

'Thanks, system.'

I returned to the mansion with Hedin's head in my inventory. After that, I rested for the rest of the day until the next day, when I would go to the house of the Ishtar Familia to give the head and Hedin to the goddess.

When the next day arrived, I had breakfast with everyone and left the mansion to go to the Ishtar Familia.

When I arrived at the entrance, the women didn't stop me; they allowed me in. Ishtar was already waiting for me, and that's a bit surprising.

Did she think I was going to do it so quickly?

"No, I just told them that you could return anytime." That was Ishtar's answer. This time, she was alone.

That's good. That toad woman scares me.

"You should have a little more confidence in me." I took Hedin's head from my inventory and held it by the hair. I'd already removed all the blood, so there was no blood on it.

His head was in perfect condition. It was as if he had just been killed. My inventory is so good...

"..." Ishtar was momentarily speechless as she looked at Hedin's head. "Is it really his head??"

"Yes, it is. It was easy for me to infiltrate the Freya Familia and kill him. The Goddess Freya doesn't normally stay there, so there wasn't much resistance."

"You're scary."

"You want this?" I started shaking Hedin's head, holding onto his hair.

"I don't want it. Throw it away. But now I've confirmed that you want to work with me. So, what are your plans?"

"Plans?" That's right, I just wanted to work with Ishtar. I should have elaborated on a plan... "I think just destroying every member of the Freya Familia will be enough."
