Lukas waited for his father to arrive so that he could talk about his plans. His father took longer than expected, so he arrived well past dinner time.

Lukas waited for his father to finish eating before calling him to talk.

Lukas and his father sat at the table and then waited for Lukas' mother, who had just showered and was getting ready for bed. Lukas got straight to the point.

"I intend to look for a house to live in alone." He said to his parents.
