I appreciate the “Wet, Hot American Summer” pun, but I think an opportunity was missed to call this episode “Kuat Girl Summer”…

Either way, I know what a kuato is now… and I’m not sure if my life is any better for it 🤣

This was a soliddd R&M episode!! I don’t know if this premise was my favourite so far this season, but I’m always here for more Summer!!🌟 Summer is kinda underused as a character it feels like sometimes for me, she’s just SO hilarious, some of the shit she comes out with paired with the line reads are gold for me! And the episodes where she does shine like the Night Family episode, the premiere of season threee, always end up being favourites! So it was great to see her have a leading role here! Oh oh, Rick mentioned that Summer reminded him of Diane back in the season 6 premiere! The time they all got sent back to their original realities, Rick said it to the AI that he made of Diane, she was always just one room away😂 I love that little reoccurring detail though, gives some insight into what Diane must’ve been like….💗 I love when we get to see all the characters from school like Trisha and Brad etc, and all the places we’ve seen in the house before, like the Morty’s Mindblowers room!!! I was kinda hoping last episode would be like a MMB type episode, and I guess it was in a way, but I just found that episode in season 3 so brilliant! All those smaller ideas that the writers had, that they couldn’t stretch out over an entire episode made for some incredibly funny and sharp shock value! I guess it’s rarely ever as good the second time around. I just think there’s so much opportunity for hilarity now with that idea, having space Beth in the mix and Jerry being back home too, they kiiiiinda wasted that opportunity last episode imo, but I still really liked it!!! Yeah the humour really shone here the most, especially in the latter half of the episode! Absolutely hate to be a copycat but the kuato knife really was the funniest part for me too!!🤣 and Rick not being able to wiggle the Russian Doll Kuato (great name btw!🤣) out of his little spider chair😭😂 also Morty winning in that frisbee golf game with the slo mo🤣 I’d love to be a little more naturally charismatic, and I think more intelligent sometimes, not that I think I’m stupid or anything, but there always room to grow! So I think I could have some fun with that thing for sure😂 but like you say, it takes the fun out of working on it yourself and getting better at those things doesn’t it! This was a lot of fun mate, thanks for another great reaction!✨

Okay I’m so glad I didn’t imagine that! I thought I’d heard Rick say it before but it makes sense I couldn’t quite remember because he didn’t actually say it TO her. I love a Summer episode, too. I feel like the comedy between Summer & Rick VS Morty & Rick is very different. They’re both just so sassy!! So I enjoy seeing that dynamic every once in a while as opposed to our OG duo. I’d love to see another MMB episode too! Maybe next season? We can dream 😭 LMAO okay just reading over all of those parts made me laugh out loud all over again 🤣 Morty’s sports- hero moment with his slo-mo laughing especially just got me so good. It’s strange to me to think of you wanting to be more charismatic because you come across with so much charisma in your comments! I would like to play with the intelligence levels too, for sure. Mama didn’t raise no fool, but she didn’t raise no genius either 😂 Hope you’re having a great week friend and enjoying the holidays :)
