Bleh. The copyright stuff is such a load of crap. It's nothing but pure punitive action taken by a greedy-ass corporation who decided to punch down on some YouTube creators just because they can (though I still stand by my theory that it may be some miserable SOB in a cubicle who hates his life and takes it out on others). So we have a channel like yours which is smart, entertaining, and brings enjoyment but isn't making much from monetization due to copyright idiocy, while at the same time we have channels of mouth breathing room temperature IQ dolts eating sticks of deodorant and making tons. The world is just plain stupid sometimes. Anyway, to the episode. (Note: This is assuming that the episode is meant to take place after the Rick Prime one) I have to admit that at first I was a bit "meh" about the fact that they seemed to sort of gloss over Rick's clear existential depression/crisis after killing Rick Prime. But after reflecting a bit I realize that it's probably good to temper that with more of the mindless levity of a classic Rick and Morty episode (especially one with lots of funny flashbacks). Most shows can't (and shouldn't try to) get away with having every episode be an existentially haunting traumatic experience (don't you try and look all innocent, Arcane, you know damn well I'm looking right at you). With that, I decided that the episode was actually hilarious. The clips and flashbacks are always fun. The voice of the Observer and the way it spoke cracked me up (I HELD ON TO MY TITS FOR NOTHING! 🤣) Oh and the part where Rick had crossed off "Morty marries Mr. PB" on the board - I think that was from "Morty's Mind Blowers". When they were doing the fast montage of Morty trying a bunch of them out, there was one really quick clip of Mr. Poopy Butthole on his knees apparently proposing to Morty. And yes I must just be ridiculous and immature but the "Observe me harder!" sex scene made me giggle. (I have no idea why I'm like this) Speaking of "You never know with this show who's going to come back into play in later episodes" - I want Planetina to come back!

Morty marrying Mr. Poopy Butthole was alluded to in Morty's Mind Blowers. I actually think this episode was well timed as heavy as the last episode was. I've already watched the next episode and I enjoyed it as well.

I feel like corporate greed has been a much too prevalent theme of our time and I am OVER it 😤 Thank you so much for all of your kind words (and for the jabs at the dopes on top… that made me giggle). It really means more than you know. I was right there with you in hoping that this week would explore more of Rick’s sadness but I also think you’re right that it’s probably for the best that it didn’t play out that way. (Arcane is guilty of this in the best possible way!) The “I HELD ONTO MY TITS FOR NOTHING” was such a perfect line read 🤣 And you’re absolutely right that Mr. PB proposed to Morty in that episode! I forgot about it until now but it’s awesome that they recalled it in this episode. I’d love to have another Planetina episode, too! I have a feeling we’ll see her again at least once before the show reaches its conclusion!
