Okayyyy, instant classic right off the bat!!!🔥 This was suchhh a fun episode/reaction I had an absolute blast with this one!! Even more than I usually do!!🌟 Rick and Jerry episode are always so good!! They are just the perfect people to pair up! Straight up polar opposites of each other (it feels weird to not write “Solar” LOL😂) The both of them being their own entities here, outside of Rick and Jerry was crazy to me! I think they both got a really unique perspective on how they’d been living their lives up until that point, so I totally understand them wanting to break those habits and start fresh! The two of them doing a buddy cop-bit was a lot of fun while it lasted, until they merged themselves togetherrrr, that was SO uncalled for and messed up honestly🤣😭 that one shot of them driving made me so uncomfortable it’s insane🤣 was not a fan!💀 I thought that emotional depth we were looking for last week landed a lot better here! When Jerry said Rick was the closest thing he had to a friend…. Way to punch me in the gut for having ever hated Jerry in the past, that might just be the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever heard🥲💔 I almost forgot too, THE WAY I GASPED at that cold opennn oh my god, that is just textbook R&M right there, Jerry (or I guess Rick’s mind in Jerry’s brain?!) instantly walking over to the gun and pulling the trigger without hesitation was CRAZY😭😭 that put me out of commission for like 30 seconds, frozen in shock😭🤣 Summer was cracking me up in this one as always, she is like the Sprig of this show when it comes to one liners😂 I really wanna see an episode centred around her too this season! She’s obviously a brilliant character! But I think since she got disillusioned with Rick and stopped trying to impress and be more like him, they’ve kinda sidelined her, just a little bit! Her dynamic with Rick especially might be more interesting than with him and Jerry for me, there’s a level of respect from both side and also a large amount of “don’tgiveashit-ness” that makes for some super entertaining stories!!🔥 I loved the song that played here too that’s definitely going on my playlist, I’d actually never heard it before this episode! Cutest lyrics ever or whattt?! So cool that it’s finally getting some global recognition for sure!! Hey whilst we’re on the topic, when is YOUR cover of that song coming out dude?!😉✨ I know we only got to hear maybe a line or two from you here but you’ve got a lovely singing voice mate!! I never knew!! I could see you doing like a sick Wolf Alice cover or something, maybe White Leather? Had you ever consider singing in the past or nah? That’s what it’s all about baybeeee :D Oh my gosh I was talking to someone the other day and was thiiiis close to saying “Solar Opposites” instead of “polar opposites”… God I want a Rick & Morty and SO crossover so badly. LMAO the merge was SO messed up and uncalled for 🤣 I love that this show just goes there with zero hesitation. And they leaned in HARD with the driving scene 🤣 Oh man, Jerry telling Rick that got me so good too 🥺 I was like, even Jerry deserves better than that lol! I really thought from the cold open that we were going to get into some heavy Rick & Morty switching dimensions lore again! My brain was so ready to try and follow the tracks! Summer is totally the Sprig of this show. She ate in this one, too 😂 Her slow “no” response to Jerrick asking if she could hear the dying atoms in space was so funny Aw I’m so glad to hear this show introduced you to that song! It’s the sweetest lil number that ever was :’) And oh my god thank you for the compliment 🙈 I did choir & musical theater growing up but never really considered myself a strong singer. More- so just something I like to do because I enjoy it. This song seems easy enough to learn though so maybe I could do a little uke cover sometime. You’ve got me inspired! This episode was definitely better than the first. I think you mentioned in your reaction to the first episode that it seemed to be missing some of the quick wit and ripostes that had been a hallmark of Rick and Morty, and that it might have just been the circumstances in that episode. I think you were right on the money, as that aspect was back in full force here. One random addition this episode had that always manages to crack me up was the AI in Rick's garage (and I believe it's the same one in his ship). Sometimes I think that thing should get its own show. I remember the time it offered to give Gene a blowjob to bring it batteries and solar panels. 🤣 Seeing different aspects of Rick's psyche arguing with each other through Rick and Jerry's bodies was very interesting and hilarious. I wonder what Dr. Wong would have made of that. (also them switching hairstyles was a pretty sublime touch). Ok, it's confession time. "Half my brain is the guy that still needs your mom to use the electric wine opener" Me after hearing that line: (^∀^) Me after remembering the time I got an electric wine opener for Christmas and it took me an hour to figure out how to use it: ( •_•) (•_• ) (•_•) Seeing Rick and Jerry have some heartfelt conversation with...er, each other? Themselves? I dunno. Well, either way it was pretty touching. Rick and Morty always did have those random heartstring moments thrown in, sort of like Solar Opposites. Ok, Jerricky was an abomination. No thanks. Jerry's brain remembering all technology as being powered by springs and gears. 🤣🤣

Oooh I wonder what Dr. Wong would have thought of all this as well! I wonder how much Rick actually divulges in his therapy sessions… I imagine even the most skilled therapist would have trouble helping Jerricky 🤣 The hair switch was SUCH a good touch! Loved seeing their switch in style, too. LMAO @ the electric wine opener 🤣 It really is one of the weirder devices I’ve owned. Took me a second to figure out as well, so don’t feel too bad! Rick and Jerry’s heart to heart was one of my favorite moments in this episode. I thought it landed really nicely. Having them say such sincere things while so much else was going on in the fore-front I think added to that. They would say the lines, but I was focused on the science-y stuff happening, and then I would process the dialogue and just: 🥺 The springs and gears technology was a highlight for me too 🤣
