My heart, my heart! We touched on the subject of Sprig and Polly's parents previously, but I didn't expect it to rear its head so abruptly. I was totally unprepared. To be honest my comment on these episodes is going to be a bit brief, mostly owing to my emotional shock. You know me too damn well. My brain went straight to Arcane too. 🤣 As an aside: I hope you're feeling better!

“😭😭😭” is all I have to say…. and YES I DID CRY💔 I was ill prepared for that ending to the second episode, what a beautiful moment!! Maybe even the most beautiful moment of this whole show✨ I saw your caption for the episode and was like “oh no, HERE WE GO”😂🥲 then I got through that lovely scene between Anne and the newt with DRY EYES, thinking “oh cool, I did it!” You know me at this point dude, it really doesn’t take a lot to get me usually, so I was surprised!😅 Then Sprig mentioned his mum and I just died, that genuinely broke my heartttt😭🥺 seeing little Sprig cry:c I’ve never wanted to give a hug to a fictional animated frog more in my life💔😭 “Can you miss someone you never actually knew” is such an unbelievable line, I loved that so much, and such a heartbreaking question in this context! This is why content for “kids” is so insanely brilliant to me, because yeah it can be a little goofy and nonsensical at times in these shows, but then they just hit you with some of the most profound and emotionally mature moments! it’s really cool and I think the lighter, more comedic side of the show helps all these moments like this and the season one finale hit so much harder in contrast!!🌟 Omg that piano rendition at the end was absolute foul play bro, as if that ending wasn’t bad enough🤣😭😭🥺 The first episode was so great, Hop Pop is always so funny and I really loved them messing with B&W and the aspect ratio too! I can’t believe he straight up killed that guy, but I guess we’re just swiftly moving on, nothing more to be said?😂 I loved your “He’s more of a sauce guy these dayss”🤌 especially how you edited it for your YouTube reaction🤣 and I totally think that was a baby zappapede!! Good call, that’s actually kinda cute they use those as tasers!😂✨ Your face when Priscilla?(i think lol) came on screen was so funny, just that *O* got me so good🤣🤣 fr though one of the cutest episodes of all time that second one, like Micro Angelo, Priscilla’s daughter, both of those scenes about missing our mothers🥺 I loved that one the most, and of course Polly is a world class haggler, I loved her little golden bucket! (that she definitely got for free just so she would leave the poor guy alone😂) And I hope she can keep Micro Angelo now, imagine him and Bessie hanging out, are you kiddinggg?!??😭😭💖 your outro and thank you was super sweet and you know we feel the exact same✨ hope you’re having a great week friend!:’)

“The rendition was foul play” 🤣🤣🤣 I’m crying all over again but this time from laughter! Yeah dude, it definitely was lol! The writing AND the animation team really put their all into this one. Sprig fiddling with his hat and Anne smiling through her tears just added to the lines they were saying at the time. So much emotional nuance for, like you said, a kids' show. It’s beautiful. It puts the biggest smile on my face knowing you enjoyed my episode A reaction so much :’) OMG I want Bessie to take MicroAngelo in as her own and raise him to be just as adorable as she is.
