It depends on the day. I do drink tea, but it's mostly lipton's diet tea. One of my faves since I become diabetic. Coffee....I have to be in the mood, and usually, it's a stretches of time I'll get it regularly, but with lots of cream and sugar. I am a sweets guy, and that's one of the reasons for my current health....lol Now. Snow days were a big thing in Wisconsin. Especially in the town I live in, which is Springfield to Kenosha's Shelbyville. We usually didn't get a notice from the news or even emails from the school district that it was a snow day. A few times the neighborhood kids and I had to wait out in the cold just to find out that school was canceled by not having the school bus come and pick us up. I mean, I do like the cold, but there's a difference between enduring because you have to and just forgetting your Carhartt in your locker. It wasn't until middle school that I made a fake email account to get notices from the school district. But when I was younger, it wouldn't be a "cozy" day. My sister was older and would go with her friends sledding. I'd play games and watch Ellen, Oprah, or Maury. Both of my parent's worked, and when they got divorced, it was something of "oh great, now we got to find a place for Julian to stay since we don't trust him alone in the house." Or most of the time, we were the only house on the block that didn't have a snowblower—just a very tall 12 yr old with a large metal shovel.

I’ve got a sweet tooth as well, so I’m right there with you! I’ve been trying to cut back on the amount of cream I put in my coffee but haven’t managed to enjoy it black just yet 😆 OH MY GOSH I can’t believe you just had to wait in the freezing cold to discover whether school was cancelled 😱 That is so messed up! Although it will make a great “I walked to school- uphill both ways!” type anecdote one day I forget what age my parents made my sister and I start shoveling the driveway too but yeah, snow days lose a bit of their magic when that work comes around hahaha

I was already in my 30's before I ever drank coffee more than once in a while. Now? Well, I have considered having it pumped in intravenously and skipping the whole cup to mouth routine.
