A detail I missed, but saw mentioned elsewhere, when King creates his rage bubble to protect the collector, the glyphs on it are his designs, including his light glyph shown at the end. His voice is different too, deeper and angry.

It's great, but still wouldv'e liked a season. It's sweet though Covers all major plot stuff. One of the most complete finales, ranks up there with Breaking Bad as great endings.

Headmaster Pirate Eda is wearing Raine's earring. That makes me smile! Just wonderful. Sure, we didnt get Caleb/Evelyn/Flapjack &amp; The Portal back story, but I can always hope for something in the future... The only disappointment was that Steve's role as Belos' spy wasnt revealed. Oh well, cant have everything. The sign of a great story is whether the end leaves you wanting more.

Maybe Im wrong, I thought that Luz was the one who brought the boiling rain to end Belos. The rain appeared when she needed it, it didnt touch her and ended as soon as Belos died. I thought it was the last expression of her magic. What do you think? I liked your thought that it was nature expressing itself too

The fact that Luz just stood there unmoving with that expression as he tried to lie to her again made me think that she knew what was about to happen, whether she caused the rain or not. And I never thought I'd see a villain stomped to death on a Disney show, but it was quite satisfying. Thanks for taking the ride with us!

As soon as you pointed out that it was gonna be our last “HOOT HOOT” mate it just hit me all at once😭💔 This has been so special….✨ I was actually doing really well not crying throughout this episode too, although there were really beautiful heartfelt moments in the earlier half, for the most part I was just enthralled in how much craziness was going down! It wasn’t until King gave Francois to the Collector…. 🥺 THATS when the tears started and never stopped!!😂🤧 You summed it up pretty perfectly mate but I’ll just echo you a little and say that I absolutely loved this, SO so so much!🌟 It was absolutely beautiful, such a love letter to the show from every department, the animation, the music, the actors probably knowing this is their final words with these characters:c I could just feel how strongly they wanted to make this a super special send off, despite the sad circumstances and time constraints! I’d say all our mains had a little moment to shine and I genuinely feel more satisfied with that ending than I ever could’ve expected or hoped for! As you mentioned, it definitely would’ve been nice to see some of those earlier moments in the episode fleshed out more, like the collectors games and especially the dream sequences! I love that kind of visual representation of a characters inner turmoil, it just hits you right in the heart to see those worst fears actualised! It’s also just so relatable, I think you even mentioned during that part now that I’m thinking about it, how anxiety is so like that, and I couldn’t agree more. I get these days of just feeling so guilty or ungrateful, like I’m not doing enough or being enough for the people in my life, even though I kinda know it’s not true and I should cut myself some slack, it’s so hard to shake sometimes and so easy to assume the worst of any given situation:/ -anyway yeah sorry, I find those sequences always reveal something really profound about the character and are always so well done animation-wise! Of course in an ideal world I would’ve loved to see much more complete arcs reach their conclusion for characters like Gus, Willow, Amity, Lilith. Hunter, I would’ve loved to see an exchange between him and Belos before this all wrapped up, even have some part in his destruction maybe, just because he’s SUCH an important character to Belos, and the show for that matter! There was definitely an opportunity there I think to see a lighter, more human side to Belos before he went all GODMODE, because nobody is just straight evil and I think they could’ve made his ending a little more complex or even bittersweet if he had more time with Hunter possibly to see what he’d become? Seeing Eda and King go to full power when they thought Luz had just died was an insane moment, kinda scary honestly seeing them like that, yet the exact reaction I would’ve expected after something like that honestly! THE best moment in this episode hands down has to be the “NOW EAT THIS SUCKAAA” from Luz like OH MY GOSH😭🤩 I screamed, I cheered, I had full body chills, omg the line delivery was just perfection! To bring it all back to the very first scene of the show, just wow dude. You just know Luz had been waiting their whole life for a moment like that and I think the good witch azura would be so proud🥹 One of the most amazing protagonist of all time, seeing them in their “final form” of sorts just blew me the hell away, so inspiring how far that character has come✨✨✨ The fast forward at the end was just the icing on the cake! I really thought it was just gonna end and honestly I wouldn’t have been that mad about it, but seeing Luz all grown up all of a sudden had me straight sobbing, then realising OH, we’re gonna see everyone again one last time, that was it for me🥺 It was so much fun getting to go through that whole end credit sequence with you and notice all the little detail’s together, like that just made the whole video, thank you for doing such an in depth review because I just really didn’t want this reaction to end😂😢 I still remember discussing our favourite Harry Potter spells in that very first episode of this show, I’m pretty sure you said yours was lumous if I’m not mistaken! Would you still go with that answer today? Id still go with the patronus definitely! Lastly thank you so much mate, I really needed this boost today, I’ve been having a rough few days I guess mentally, not for any particular reason but I’m truly feeling a million times better after this, I hope you know what you do has a genuine impact, I think you do by now but yeah, it’s just really nice to be smiling for like a whole hour!:D P.S. ARE WE ALL GETTING MATCHING FLAPJACK TATTOOS NOW OR JUST ME??!😆✨🥺

Omg knowing that King giving the Collector Francois is the thing that broke you is breaking ME dude 😭 I totally hear what you’re saying about the anxiety traps, my friend. I haaate that feeling. Of knowing your brain is just being a bully. I thought it was executed so well through Luz’s nightmare sequence. I didn’t even think about the fact that Hunter didn’t play that big of a role in this episode, but now that you mention it, I think it maybe would have been more satisfying had Rain and Hunter’s roles been switched in this episode? I agree that it would be have been nice to see our other character’s arcs played out more…Particularly Hunter/Caleb’s and Belos/Phillip’s. Is it lame that I’m still holding out hope for a spin-off of some sort lol? 😭 HAHAHA I AGREE that the Eat This Suckah was a favorite moment for me! It was so freaking satisfying. And yes, really showed that our bb Luz has come full circle 🥺 The epilogue made this episode for me. It was a great conclusion on its own but that flash forward… it’s like you said- this episode (and whole show really) was such a love-song from the creators to us. It was definitely the cherry on top :’) Aah I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed my review :D I was hoping that could be a fun little thing for us to do together! I was SHOOK at the Polly pin! Honestly I think I might have to change my answer to Patronus too :’) Lumos will always have a special place in my heart but there’s something about the Patronus being summoned to destroy both the literal and metaphorical darkness that I find so beautiful. I’m glad to hear my reaction could make you smile, friend. And if that darkness comes back just summon up your patronus and chase it outta here! ✨✨✨✨ Also I’m IN on the flapjack tattoos.
