Ok, first order of business: are we going to come up with a clever nickname for your fans? I think we sort of talked about this before, but I definitely agree that this is a very refreshing change of pace from Arcane. It's pretty lighthearted but still manages to be touching at times as well as include some relatively adult humor. On that note, I loved how they included a reference to two movies in the scene from Breakout Star where Hop Pop grabs her shoe (though the first one might be a stretch). First was (I THINK) a reference to Monty Python's Life of Brian where Brian gets all of these followers and one of his shoes comes off and they start worshipping the shoe. The second was when Hop Pop says "Fly, you fools" in reference to Lord of the Rings. Also, for some reason Hop Pop saying very matter of factly at the end of Anne Theft Auto "I don't feel safe" absolutely cracked me up. With regards to pets: I'm going to go with the spiders. But that's because I actually have a few pet tarantulas, and they're really cool (though definitely not as social as the pet spiders in Amphibia). Yes, I'm a bit odd.

Toady is voiced by the amazing Jack McBrayar, Kenneth from 30 Rock. If you ever need a quick laugh he has a series of youtube videos called Livin Neath The Law where he in his usual cheery self teaches you how to be a criminal. Most of them are only like a minute and a half. Vey funny stuff

Didnt care much at first for Wander Over Yonder, but between McBride's & April Winchell's voice work, there were some amazing moments.

Not sure if this respose is totally meant for me. Have no idea what Wander Over Yonder is lol. When I hear McBride I think of Danny McBride who is a hilarious actor/voice actor so I may check it out. April Winchell also sounds familiar.

Honestly if I thought I could come up with something better than F-Annes, I would 🤣 But it would be hard for me to say a new intro at this point since “Hello my fellow dweebs” just comes so naturally after 6 years 🙈 I absolutely agree about the tone of Amphibia VS Arcane. It was a much needed reprise from all the heartbreak haha. I have a feeling I’ll become more emotionally invested in the characters as the seasons progress, too. I’m looking forward to seeing where this show is ultimately headed. OH MY GOSH I missed the Monty Python reference all together!!! And the LOTR one I caught but not until my edit. I was like wait….. Gandolf!? 🥺 I love knowing that the ‘I don’t feel safe’ line was one of your favorites. It’s always such a treat for me to get to know everyone’s sense of humor better through the comments. OOOOOooooO000h okay I actually think it’s VERY cool that you have pet tarantulas. I have several friends that do as well. I’m so frikkin scared of spiders but I don’t like it about myself. They really don’t do anything to us humans unless provoked so I feel sorry for them that so many people don’t like them. But I am admittedly the girl who will scream bloody murder if I find one in my apartment 😅 Like I said- I’m first to admit it’s NOT the coolest thing about me lol

Jack McBrayar! Thank you! Now that I see the name I remember it completely (I guess I just could have looked it up myself but by the time I was done filming/editing I forgot lol). I just looked up “Livin Neath the Law” and omg Dark, THANK YOU FOR THAT. I laughed all the way through watching those videos 🤣🤣🤣 That was such a treat and a much- needed laugh today, thank you!

Oh there's nothing wrong with being scared of spiders. We evolved to be scared of them, just like snakes. So I'm the weird one, not you. Somehow evolution looked at me, shrugged its shoulders, and basically said: meh, he should be ok on his own, I guess. My place is more or less a phobia garden as I have a few tarantulas as well as a 7 foot boa constrictor named Lilith.

I figured you'd like that, Jack McBrayer is great, I love him. He was also great in The Campaign which if you haven't seen it I know is up your alley as far as comedy goes. Will Farell and Zach Galifincas (the guy from the Hangover movies) and is hilarious satire. are the leads, It's more adult but like the same way Anchorman was.
