How about you creating an intro for each episode... like you did for Owl House... "Amphibia Ribbit Ribbit" (its been a long week and Im highly medicated - so feel free to ignore). BTW we're a month away from the last Owl House eps which is 55 minutes long. Love all the characters, Poly is my fave at this point (you'll see why). Anne is very flawed but seems to have a good heart. Brave, but doesnt seem to have much of a moral compass.

There were a number of Amphibia references in the Owl House (both were being produced around the same time) for example Willow's father gave her a book to study when she was expelled on the life cycle of a frog - Hop Pop's picture was on the cover and in his room, Hunter had a Sprig plushie.

I'm glad you mentioned that you knew that Season 1 is slow / not very continuous because I was conflicted about wether or not I should tell you because I would consider that a spoiler while a lot of other people might not. 😋 Honestly when I first watched the first episode I was a little hesitant the color palette combined with the very like goofy "overacting" and stuff it was a lot and it felt like it might be a little too kidsy for me. But in episode 2 when the lake serpent swallows Sprig and Anne goes from terrified to yelling "SPRIIIG....VENGEAAANCE" I was in, lol...Anne is ride or die and now so am I 🤣. Also you're voice twins kinda hehe not really that much anymore but she also got that creaky husky thing going on, she does more yelling tho 😁 Oh wait is that how you lost your voice lol swearing overly loud vengeance on a lake creature 🤣. By the end of the second episode / 1b I loved everything about it I love all the luminous mushrooms and the fireflies I can't entirely put it into words how or why but they soothe my mind lol I find it super relaxing. I love the outro so much the song and the night sky with the blinking stars and Anne giving that "Aw the little guy conked out" look and blowing out the candle to call it a night. In fact as soon as I saw it I was like man I need like a 40 minute version of that on a loop to fall asleep to...only to find that of course someone took all the credits out and made a 1 hour version on youtube 🥰 Thank you internet, usually if you had an idea someone probably already made it saving you a lot of work haha. By the way I think I mentioned this before but usually when I watch a show without you I have like a little Alycia in my head that reacts to the show along with me and so far your reaction to Amphibia has been lining up pretty nicely with my "brain fanfic" lol...which sounds kinda creepy saying out loud haha but I mean at this point I've watched you react to stuff for dozens and dozens of hours so I guess it makes sense that I kind of have a good handle on how you would react to certain things xD Man I can't wait for you to see the rest of this show, I'm honestly so excited for you knowing what lies in store hehe. It's kind of like the feeling you get when you see something you know would make the perfect gift for someone and you're so excited to give it to them 🤣. Ah btw glad I could amuse you a little with my comment on the Arcane finale xD. Which reminds me...I was waiting for you to reply to everyone and in this current age of everything is instant waiting like 5 days or something feels like I'm sending you a letter by ship across the ocean and waiting like 6 months for a reply like in colonial times lol. "Dearest Alycia, I hope this letter finds you well!..." xD Edit: Oh almost forgot in regards to spicy things I LOVE spicy things almost to a fault. Like if my body isn't screaming for help while eating it's pretty much a letdown for me 🤣. However there is an art to that any buffoon can make shit just super hot where you can't taste anything anymore but over the years I've mastered to cook in such a way where it's insanely hot but also got awesome flavor. Fun fact if you cross a certain treshold of spicy your body releases endorphins and dopamine that creates like a very trippy euphoric feeling kinda like a runners high...and honestly at this point I'm addicted to it...you mean to tell me I get to eat delicious food AND have a wave of like euphoria wash over me where I can feel all the muscles in my body turn into jelly for a bit...sign me up 🤣. A friend of mine used to eat my chili with a towel around his neck to wipe his head lol. This might sound alarming and the first time it happened it was very alarming to experience...I've actually made things so hot a couple of times that my whole body started to tingle like when your leg fell asleep and you got the pins and needles thing going on and I was like a hairs breadth away from passing out, and one time I legit couldn't move my arms or hands for a good 10 minutes my muscles just didn't react at all lol am I overdoing it slightly by temporarily paralyzing myself with chili peppers? I mean who's to say really....but I get it, maybe that's not for everybody hrhr. I love it tho! If someone would cook me the hottest thing on planet earth that still tastes amazing I'd love them forever 🥰

I can handle spicy food to an extent. There's "it's just a little spicy, it's nothing I can't handle", and there's" That is too damn spicy, get it away from me!!!" . So I'd lean towards non-spicy foods. And I personally think you would've been a very successful actress if you had continued on that path, as I believe your performance in "Vintage Vehicle" was phenomenal 👏🏾 😁.

I couldn’t agree more I think this is exactly what we all need after Arcane honestly, like this was THE most fun!✨ I think I smiled nothing short of the entire time!:D I loved the choice to open the story from the perspectives of the amphibians, to see our protagonist as they do initially and then in the next episode show how exactly she ended up there, it just made it stand out for me a little more right off the bat! Favourite character so far has to be Sprig, not only is he so sweet but both the lines “You just stole my soul in a tiny box” and “I owe her my firstborn child” absolutely killed me🤣🤣 That sound Sprig makes when he leaps is just brilliant too, it made me laugh anyways😂😅 Great cliffhanger to the episode! I’m definitely left wanting more!! The two friends coming too was a great narrative choice because so much can happen with them now, they could strike a deal with their captors for instance and become Anne’s enemy, which seems probable! Either way I don’t think Anne’s missing much being separated from those “friends” honestly😂So here’s to Sprig and Anne!!! BFFs 4 LIFE!! I am curious where exactly that second friend ended up though, hopefully not in the mountains😭 Also I’m so sorry if you’ve mentioned it before at length and I’m just completely blanking on it, but I don’t think I knew you were an actor at some point! I definitely remember you saying you worked in the industry before but that’s so cool! Did you get any roles before you changed your path? Or did you have a favourite project you worked on in that time? Oooh oh, lastly I’m huge fan of spice! I too had a pretty not-so-adventurous palette when I was a kid and I don’t know at what time that changed, but I practically live off those big bowl Nongshim Korean noodles (which at least I think are pretty hot) during the week if I don’t wanna cook and I will definitely try anything considered spicy, even Hop Pop’s peppers which look pretty darn hot lol😂

I figured you'd love this show. I didn't get Arcane but I a patreon because I'm old school ride or die type. Besides even withought your reactions you post updates lol. Also for those thinking I'm not a fan of adult animation I was one of the original proponents for Invincible, for some reason Arcane couldn't hold my attention. I just couldn't get emotionally invested in it. It happens sometimes Attack on Titan is the same way I just cant get into it.

i heard a little about the show when it was running concurrently with TOH, the amount of time that elapses in my memory from one season till the last episode was quite the journey. Alas, i did not feel patient and last summer when i was in army schooling i watched the finale. Now i can have the honor of watching with everyone here and seeing your reaction!

Completely different vibe from what I usually watch but happy to expand my viewing experiences and couldn't ask for a better guide. I think I could really enjoy this series once I get into it so looking forward to next weeks new episode(s? not sure what's going on with this double episode layout).

As sad as I am to say goodbye to that show, I love a series finale. All that build- up for the final payoff! Ooooh I love that Polly is your favorite character! Elisa you sweetheart- thank you for being so considerate about spoilers! I appreciate you airing on the side of caution. It’s funny how different people can consider different things spoilers so yeah, again, I just really appreciate that 💖 I totally feel you on episode 1 being very silly. I think if it were a show I picked to watch on my own, I would have considered it a “have on in the background while I do other things” show. But that’s why I’m so lucky to have the channel/dweebdom because I know better that it’s going to turn into something amazing :D OMG I was thinking Anne and I had similar voices too 🤣 My sick voice, I mean. And I love the idea of my voice origin story being that I shouted “SPRIG! VENGEANCE!” So that’s my new story from here on out and I’m sticking to it 🤣 I find their world to be so soothing too! Every time we get a frame of their home I just want to cozy up in there and drink tea and read a book or something 🥺 It kind of reminds me of the Burrow from Harry Potter. Whoever these people are that make hour- long loops of songs are my heroes. The one for Over The Garden Wall is a personal favorite for when I’m doing chores or just want to make an ordinary day feel a little more whimsical :D LOL! Elisa you’ve been a subscriber/patron for so long that I truly don’t find that creepy at all and think it’s very endearing :’) Omg I feel so bad my comments take a while to get to these days. I’ve gotten so many new patrons, which is AMAZING, but that also means it can take me a hot second sometimes to find the time to respond. I can handle/like a little bit but usually get to nervous to make anything spicy because it’s a very fine line for me 🤣 ALSO! I wanted to tell you (because you’re my rap- loving patron, right? Such a solid point about the creators showing us the world first and THEN our protagonist. I hadn’t thought about that but you’re right- it gave the first episode a unique flare because of it. Sprig is SO. CUTE. But wait! I missed his bouncing noise! Omg! Okay I’m watching episodes 3 & 4 tomorrow so I’m going to listen for that! I just might die of cuteness lol I love, love, love the idea of Anne’s friends betraying her in this world- I mean… that would be sad for Anne… but… from a story-telling perspective I mean 🤣 Especially because these girls didn’t exactly seem like true friends anyway- with pressuring her to steal that music box and the way Anne spoke about them to Sprig. SPRIG & ANNE 4EVS!!!! Oh my gosh- no apologies necessary! I think you became a patron after I had changed career paths already. Actually, now I’m curious! What show did you join the dweebdom on? Was it Star? So I booked a few commercials when I was out in LA but the rest of my gigs were small, indie projects that weren’t exactly anything to write home about lol! But for one of the national commercials I did I got to blow bubbles around a laundromat with a leaf-blower and that was pretty fun 🤣 Maybe I should give spice another go!? lets see- Escaping Expulsion - Willows dad tells her study Live Cycle of Common Swamp Toad - Hop Pop on cover... Not sure which episodes these are - Luz is sitting in her mom's clinic with the palisman egg drawing in her journal (there's a tadpole in a bucket with a bow on one page) & Hop Pop is on a poster on the bulletin board. In the episode where Flapjack flies onto Hunter's shoulder (Hunter's sewing on the crest while sitting in bed), there's a Sprig doll under his pillow. In the background of the Halloween parade there is a Grime cosplayer. Knock Knock Knockin on Hooty's Door - When Hooty traps Luz & Amity in the basement the Calamity Box is on a shelf (hard to see). King's Tide - Camila's tablet by the stove has a news story about a girl lost in frogland (Hoax?).

I think the best crossover was Marilyn. In Gravity Falls, Grunkle Stan tells a story about how he met a woman named Marilyn in Vegas at the slot machines, they got married and the next day she stole his car, his winnings & ran away. Owl House: Back in the coffee shop in the human realm there's a "banned for life" photo of Eda signed... Marilyn.

Ooooh I'm just now checking out the video I sent you on accident and it's the WHOLE soundtrack! That's cool too though! There's lots of songs from that show that I saved. I literally got to the point where I had to ask myself- do I like this show or do I just like the soundtrack? 🤣 The answer is definitely both but I've never seen a kid's show go this hard on an OST before lol!

Yea it just looked like the same comment came through twice on my end so I just assumed it was a bug and read the first one lol, I’m glad I did though because yeah, they did not need to go even half as hard as they did on this soundtrack!🔥 Like surely the idea of making a show was an afterthought? there was just some talented musicians who all got locked in a room and the only way out was to produce the most immaculate of vibes! I’m gonna actually check out the show soon though because I cannot get enough of that animation, STOP I NEED TO SEE HER FACE LIKE THAT AWW okay that’s it I’m doing it, it’s happening!😂🤩

They are bundled as one episode on Disney+ also so it wasn't an issue at all, probably wouldn't have even considered it was designed as 2 episodes if you hadn't mentioned it. Also considering going back and trying Own House again, I think I watched the first episode before and it didn't grab me at the time but maybe it's worth another shot with your reactions to go along with it.

I know I didn't need to stick around, but I know that $10 a month would have gone to waste, trust me. (It would be spent on cheap booze. Not even the good stuff, because I'm too lazy to go downtown and buy the good stuff. I'm not pure my angel.) I'm just a broken human I seem to have pretty good health. You should definitely give The Owl House another shot, especially with Alycia. I was kinda the same way before, as well. I remember a while back I watched the first episode, and was intrigued, but not enough to prioritize watching it, so I ended up going essentially a whole year before I got back into it and man am I glad I did. The story and animation starts getting real juicy as it progresses, and it was really fun to watch it alongside Alycia's reactions, because there were moments that were just 10x more hilarious because of how she reacted, or intriguing. Also, by not being associated or a part of the LGBQT+ (I think that's right) community, the representation wasn't really a selling point for me. However, seeing it through certain character's perspectives (and Alycia's own thoughts and stuff), and how they deal with that, I gained a much better understanding of that side of things what they go through, which was a really interesting (and kinda heart wrenching lol) experience. Not really good with words and expressions, so I hope that I was clear enough. TL;DR Should definitely try TOH again. 1000% with Alycia. You'll enjoy it.
