I felt bad about my reaction being so late to you guys last week on Wednesday so I decided I’d give you this week’s episode just a lil early :) I went back to my 3 minute markers for the episode clips since we fixed the syncing issue (hooray!) But if for any reason this episode isn’t lining up or you want more episode clips again next week, just let me know. We’ll work on finding the perfect balance together 😊

Hey Alycia, great reaction as always and happy Tewwwsday to you as well! Yeah the animation this season is beautiful! My favorite sequence was when the family was knocking themselves out and awakening themselves at the same time( yeah I didn't know how else to explain that part lol) and if I had a night version of myself, my goal would be to totally get some good Ol' cum abs! hehe 😁👍 P.S. your hair looks great! (I know I say that all the time)

I love episodes where Jerry is the hero. I feel like everyone hates Jerry, but I love the guy, he seems to be the happiest of the bunch. After watching Arcane there really hasn't been a series that compares in terms of the animation, even though I agree with you, they have clearly step it up. I would learn how to paint / sculpture / ( anything artistic) for my night person's task. I have always admired artists, but I have never been able to be good at it, its probably gonna be one of those things I learn when I retire.

Jerry sort of reminds me of Michael from the Office. There are so many moments when he seems so sweet and pure and likeable and then he does something SO CRINGEY that it reminds me why everyone picks on him so much 🤣 But I agree, I like Jerry a lot too and don't think he deserves the flack he gets from the family.

I have to say I absolutely LOVED this episode! The more “stay at home” type plots we’ve been getting this season (due to lack of a portal gun and now a really cool carrr) have brought about some of the most hilarious and I guess classic feeling Rick and Morty moments for me already, I for one have been dying laughing every episode so far😂 Having said that this is definitely one of the spookiest episodes of Rick and Morty I’ve ever seen, I mean that shot of the night family silently looming over Rick’s bed in the dark will HAUNT MY NIGHTMARES NOW that’s for sure!!😭 The whole thing really reminded me of Jordan Peele’s Us, amazing movie if you haven’t watched before! Ah, it’s kinda spooky actually maybe not, or watch with a friend possibly?😅 Anyways, the shadow versions of each family member, the creepy voices, Summer becoming this unspoken leader of the group due to her hatred of how the night family are treated, leading them to take back their world, with a classic funny Rick and Morty twist of course. I’d be shocked to hear if it wasn’t at least a slight influence. Wow yes you are so right about the animation and overall production here too mate! It’s been such a natural progression I think from season 1 to now, but at this point we’re just getting treated on an episode by episode basis to so much beauty. I remember the backdrop of space standing out to me last season and giving me a similar feeling of like “wow! These guys are getting so freaking good at what they do”, gosh I just love this show don’t you🤩

Of course Jerry instantly became pen pals with his night self!😂 I had to pause too, the addresses they put on those letters were amazing, Under The Pillow Rd, Awake- Town and Sleepsville🤣 Also just something about Morty dropping a bowling ball on his six pack was hilarious to me😭 Okay, in answer to your question, I’m yet to truly master any instruments besides some basic guitar and drum knowledge so I’d definitely use that time to practice like Piano or Cello, two of my favourite instruments! I’ve also been getting a lot of joy out of Minecraft recently and would 100% use my night self for some of the more repetitive block placing when making a big structure lol. Also maybe take R&M’s advice and get some sweet abs going, just for the hell of it🤣 hope you’re having a great one mate!:)

Ooh oh! I forgot to mention my favourite shot!! It has to be that amazing revelation of night Summerrr, OMG that was so sickkk! Reminded me of a similar moment with Toni Collette in Hereditary, really cool✨

Omg YES Get Out was so fantastic!! Such a masterclass in suspense and Daniel Kaluuya just broke my heart the whole way through, so great!✨ Us is a bit of a different vibe I guess but still really great imo, the insane attention to detail and especially the performances are second to none! Like Lupita Nyong’o in that movie…. actually unbelievableeee, my simple words could never do her true justice but wow, INSANE! would love to hear your thoughts if you ever found the time to check it out mate:)
