You guys will have to forgive me on this 😅 I call Alador “Alastor” like 7 times during this episode lol. Where did I even get that from!? Is that a Harry Potter thing? I try not to be an idiot you guys, I really do… and I don’t know if that makes it better or worse 🤣

Its OK, I know for a fact that Alador has gotten your name wrong on more than one occasion. And he keeps calling me Mart-ten. (Still not trusting Steve! Last eps he joined the Cats, now we learn Belos already knows the plan. Why am I the only one who suspects him?)

Another fun fact ... the animator that did the kiss scene speaks british english (I think he's an Aussie) yet that was the first time in his entire career he's animated "crikey."

Eeek! A shoutout! 🤩 Sadly I’m afraid it’s not anything interesting. Luz was just replaying the last message she got from Amity, “Grounded. Come quick.”

It’s the Lumity kiss episode!!! That whole scene was so romantic, starting with Luz’s blush and using flowery plants to get up to Amity’s balcony! And then Luz’s cute little smug smile when Amity looks shocked that all their friends came to help! So about the palisman. You know what else hatches from eggs? Titans! Like a lab-rat! I think those witches that are illustrated differently were based off of people from the crew! Amity gets her angry tomato face from her dad! Lol, I got my therapist hooked on this show! And she’s also the only person I know irl who watches this show! Alright, second to last word of the poem! After Kiki told Luz & Co that the emperor knew about what the CATs were up to there were a lot of conspiracy theories going around about how he found out. The one that I was most convinced about was that the real Steve had been replaced by someone under an illusion spell. He just seemed so much more serious and rather ominous during that blimp scene. Plus one or two of the moles on his face were in a different spot than they were in the previous episode! I thought it might be a clue that he (or whoever was disguised as him) was the mole! Another theory a lot of fans put stock in was that the plant coven head, Terra Snapdragon, knew about the plan because during the CATs’ meeting in the war room there was a snapdragon plant hanging above the door. And still other fans were convinced Raine was the snitch! Luz’s line about making sure they kept Eda safe, plus Raine’s facial expressions throughout the planning and on the blimp, made a lot of people suspicious.

So there were actually a few clues that hinted at Hunter and Luz swapping places! The biggest one was when “Luz” teleported in the same way Hunter does, and how “her” instinct was to save Willow. Also that moment where “Hunter” held up “his” hands and stuck “his” tongue out at Kiki was such a classic Luz move. Then when Kiki grabs “Hunter” “his” mouth has Luz’s lip curl, and right after there’s a moment where “Luz” is drawn with gap teeth. There’s also a few moments where you can see Gus has those blue illusion circles on his wrists. Finally, after Kiki flies away and Alador comments on the jet packs, “Luz” looks confused while staring at “her” hands.

I suspected him in this ep too! But I was thinking that the real Steve from last episode was replaced in this episode by someone using an illusion, because his moles are in different places!

Oh also when you finish the next episode I highly recommend watching Not-So-Average-Fangirl’s reaction videos to this series! She started doing them at 1x17. The first reaction video to anything that I ever watched was her reaction to 2x08! I just loved that episode so much that I was looking for YouTube videos about it and her reaction came up. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it now!

Oh my gosh this episodeeee!!!😭✨ Okay I finally got myself a free day since coming back and just got caught up with episodes 18, 19 and 20! Which was really nice actually, sometimes this show just gets so good I wanna jump right into the next one, so it was nice to get a little three-in-one deal here lol! Okay I’m just gonna take a leaf out of your book and start by addressing the really cute elephant in the room that is LUMITY!!!🥺🎉 The build up to this moment has been nothing short of masterful, and WHAT A MOMENT IT WAS!!😭 These animators need to chill tf out lol, that whole sequence was done SO beautifully, they honestly put their hearts and souls into those facial expressions and just the flow of the animation there…. It made it so much more impactful and sweet and lovely omggggg🌟 and seeing your reaction was just the icing on the cake and totally got me going too!! I think you put it in better words than I ever could mate, representation is so important!💜 Okay can we just take a second to talk about Eda! She really has come the longest way from last season to now😭 Seeing her more than ready to make the ultimate sacrifice here, her wild magic, maybe even her life, all for her kids! It’s just too much, I absolutely love her and I don’t want her to lose her magic, I wish there was another way! That’s assuming there’s no way to remove a coven mark, they’ve certainly made it seem like it’s irreversible, as far as I’m aware it remains to be seen! Her relationship with Luz too just makes me so happy, they have such a strong bond and just wanna keep each other safe it’s so lovely🥺 Speaking of Luz, I’m so curious to find out what her palisman’s gonna beee!! I think you’re bang on the money with some kind of winged creature, it would make the most sense since Luz is 100% an honorary Clawthorne!! Maybe a dragon? Most probably a bird but a dragon would be awesome🔥

Honestly how was that episode less than half an hour that felt like a movie😅 firstly you’re so right about the way this show does it’s fight sequences, always the most unique and entertaining, this being the absolute pinnacle of that with the whole gang teaming up! Yet despite that they make so much time for the more intimate moments between two people, and I have to say those are the parts that really stick with me after the episode’s over! The first part that comes to mind was that little interaction with King and Amity’s Dad on the swings! I love that he’s just venting to him at first about how hard work’s been recently, like King’s just some random guard and totally gets how stressful things have been😂 Omg did you notice the wind pushed King on the swings for a second when he mentioned his dad!🥺 That was so amazing I instantly teared up and was honestly the main reason that moment stood out to me so much, what a beautiful little detail for the animators to put in there! Have I mentioned yet that I absolutely LOVE this show??!! Because if not I really do!!!!😂🌟

I have so much more to talk about so I’m just gonna rapid fire: -Amity’s mum sucks so bad it’s actually crazy!😂 like is there any love there whatsoever?! For her husband, her children? It really didn’t seem that way this episode so I’d love to see her get hit with a dose of reality if possible before this is all over😂 -Who the heck is the collector, I find myself forgetting all about them but this episode really brought them to my attention in a big way and I’m so curious. It makes me sad that they have this very child like enthusiasm and charisma, because of the situation they’re stuck in it just makes me feel bad for them I guess. But who knows Belos could have them trapped for good reason, maybe they’re very manipulative and dangerous. -That hug between Luz, Eda and King was very sweet but that BETTER NOT BE THE LAST TIME THEY CAN ALL HUG TOGETHER! King being a literal Titan and just knowing what Belos would do if he found that out is very scary to think about, if he hurts our little bab I’m gonna be very upset! -omg Kikimora’s demotion was kind of hilarious, I feel no sympathy towards her character I have to be honest so it was just kinda funny to see her moodier than usual this episode😂 Yeah I could go frame for frame this episode there’s just so much to discuss but I think I’ll leave it here. This has been such a fun journey watching this amazing show here with all you guys! It just makes it a million times more fun like you mentioned and I always learn so much more about each episode from these super smart, attentive people above that I just wouldn’t pick up on by myself. Feeling very grateful rn☺️ here’s to a fantastic penultimate episode and what I can only imagine will be a satisfying conclusion to the season next week mate, take care✨

Thanks Zulu :) I've been in therapy on and off since I was 18. I started going consistently again back in February of this year and it's made a huge impact on my overall well-being and mental health. I feel fortunate that my insurance through my airline job pays for it though. Because I know how expensive it is for most poeple

- Amity's mom is possibly my least favorite character in this whole series! She just has zero redeemable qualities. I'm really glad that Alador gfto. It will be what's best for the kids too - I'm right there with you on the collector. There's something about their personality that just seems really unhinged to me. I wonder what sort of havoc they could create if they were out of captivity. I get serious Bill Cipher vibes from that one. - IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO LUZ, EDA OR KING I WILL LOSE MY MIND - I loved Kikimora's demotion too lol! Her in that worker's outfit/hat was so funny to me for some reason. - And I 100% agree. I feel so lucky to have watched this show with you guys. There's so much I would have missed out on if it weren't for the dweebdom! I love you guys 😭
