Awe man I loved this so much, thank you dude what an awesome surprise!✨ So due to living under a rock apparently for most of my younger years I missed out completely on Hey Arnold and Courage The Cowardly Dog, but what better of an introduction! I especially loved Hey Arnold and it’s impeccable art styleee, wow that was pretty to look at! That is a show I might just have to check out more of! But omg the highlight has got to be, one of my all time favourite shows SPONGEBOB!!!🎉😭 Such a fantastic choice of episode too, I loved hearing your favourite parts! Some of mine are SpongeBob’s super enthusiastic “and then the sun will come up! And it’ll be tomorrow! And we’ll still be WORKING!”, I used to work nights in my old, old job and would quote that so often lol! Another line that always gets me is “..aaand at his funeral, theyy- FIRED HIM!”😂 Also I love when SpongeBob is mopping the ceiling he has to wear these suction cup shoes but the mop bucket’s just chillin’ there🤣 What an honour to get to watch one of the most iconic episodes with you and PlanetDrewpiter! Who is awesome by the way, I absolutely loved his style of editing too, so funny I will 100% be subbing!✨

See, I'm a bit older than you guys I was aware of Hey Arnold and SpongeBob Squarepants. I did actually watch Courage the Cowardly Dog but I was around 15 and 16 at the time lol. If you want to see one of the freaky cartoons of my child hood look up The Inhumanoids. Though at around 13 or so I started watching Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, though this was around 1994 before it was on Cartoon Network. (That was pre Funimation days, the old Pioneer dubs).

Courage was one of the earliest memories of me wanting to explore horror as a kid. Granted, I was scared shitless by Michel Myers, Jason Voorhees, and all of the other slashers, but slowly started to love them. But looking back, there were few Courage episodes (hell, even Hey Arnold) that were more mature/creepy than we realized (did anyone play that Courage game on the Cartoon Network website??) Hey Arnold is such a great wind- down show. I love rewatching it sometimes before I go to bed. It just has this very chill energy about it and the humor always makes me grin. I'm glad you enjoyed the art style as well! I think it's so cool. AND HOORAY FOR SPONGEBOB lol! I was sooo excited to react to that one. I swear I was laughing the entire time. It's amazing what a great job that show did appealing to both children and adults. There's stuff I find funny watching it now that I didn't as much watching it as a kid, and stuff I find funny all over again because I remember how much I laughed watching it for the first time way back when. I hope you don't mind but I shared your comment with Drew and he was so honored lol! He sent me this emoji: 🥺! Haha Drew and I met working at a restaurant together way back in the day and have been friends ever since!

Friends you make in the service industry are REAL ones lol!! They’ve seen your patience put through the ringer and they still love you…. that’s some true friendships right there😂 Two of my bestest friends are both ones I met in that line of work so I speak from experience and I’m sure they’d both say likewise✨
