Ok let's get the "bad" stuff out of the way first. I was so hyped up that a new season was out that I was hoping for more in the season premiere. That being said it wasn't bad but I wasn't laughing my ass off like I usually do. I still really enjoyed it! Ok so I'm all for inclusivity and acceptance of everyone but somehow I think the Pupa's fiancee should be slightly more discerning lol. When the Pupa showed up at her door we both went "nooo way" at the exact same time and inflection lol. It was interesting to find out that Terry was helping the Pupa scam people for snacks but did you notice the like reddish lighting and music? Hasn't that been thus far only been used as a foreshadowing thing for stuff in the wall? Maybe I'm wrong but that's the feeling that triggered inside me. Does that mean the Pupa/Terry scamming plot and possibly the Pupa's fiancee storyline will intersect with the wall in some way?! That would be cool...can't wait to find out more! If I had to pick a role on the crew I'd probably take Jesse's I'm a bit of a spreadsheet nerd it's super satisfying to me to order and record information especially if it benefits future efficiency lol. 🤓 That being said in EVERY job I ever worked I got reluctantly pushed into a leadership position...basically because I love optimizing processes and I kept complaining how inefficient everything is lol. I HATE doing stuff inefficiently especially for hours on end every day at a job. This is not a brag either I hate being in charge I only reluctantly do it because it's slightly less annoying than having to work inefficiently for 8 hours each day. 😂 So I'd probably start out as Jesse and end up as Korvo 😕 As to your question in the Owl House episode about what we've been up to. Actually I've been relearning a lot of how to do things as a woman lol. Turns out when you have nail polish on you can't just haphazardly tear stuff open with your hands anymore or open soda cans the same way...bending my nails all over the place or making my nail polish flake off if I use my fingers the way I had my whole life haha. Obviously it's not just been that but things in the same vein. Oh yeah and I really miss having a bunch of pockets...you never think about that until you're faced with not having pockets anymore or ones that are so small they're basically decorative at that point. 😅 So yeah been figuring out how to deal with that among other things lol. But this post is too long already so maybe I'll mention a bunch more stuff next week...spread it out a bit hehe. Oh and I HAD to bring back my old picture to celebrate the return of Solar Opposites, I feel like it's obligatory at this point. 🤣

I totally agree with you on feeling like this wasn’t the strongest episode ever. I think I remember feeling this way during Rick and Morty’s last season premiere and then that season ended up being a banger! I bet (I hope) that they’re just saving the best stuff for later. And LOL I am so glad I’m not the only one that found that absolutely insane 🤣 but it was definitely part of what made it so hilarious. The pupa was so obviously in sight 🤣🤣🤣 OMG I’m so excited to see if your wall prediction is right! I’m actually surprised there hasn’t been more crossover between the Solar Opposites and wall inhabitants. Perhaps it’s about time!? Based on your answer I think you’re absolutely correct about your mission trajectory lol. You’d start as a Jesse and be moved up to Korvo-status in no time hahaha Oh my gosh I am loving hearing about these details of your transition. It’s so funny because it’s all the stuff I find annoying AF about being a woman but generally don’t think about until it’s brought to my attention. Like-yeah- THE POCKETS THING. I get excited if my clothes come with actual pockets and not just fake pockets lol. And you’ll get used to working around the nails ☺️ Powder and gel manis are a god-send if/when you have the budget for them. I only get them done for special occasions but those manis won’t chip for NOTHIN lol! And hahahahahaha that freaking Christmas special 🤣 I’ll never be able to watch Rudolph the same

Right!? Honestly until this episode I didn’t even realize they had roles! I guess I just figured they were their adopted kids or something? Lol or that they were there to help the Pupa when the time came to terraform? I don’t know what I thought- I guess I just didn’t think about it at all 🤣

Ohhh really? I thought manis were basically about like shaping the nails and cuticles and stuff and not having to paint your own nails. Little did I know they had some magical nail polish that makes nails less annoying! Like how long does it last if you get them done? Because I'm already kinda over painting my nails every 3-5 days 🤣. Thank you...I still got so much to learn 😁. This feels like never having played D&D and getting thrown into a campaign 40 hours in like "you figure it out" hrhr. OMG I just got my second wig today and after I put it on I cried for like 5 minutes it looks so good. I stood in front of the mirror for forever I didn't want to leave like if I go it would somehow disappear or something. 😂 The first one was kinda cool and actually better quality but I didn't get this "holy shit is this me?!?!" feeling. 💖

Always love more Solar Opposites, my main objective would be to help terraform a new planet, but I think I'd let the pupa grow on Earth and let it's last stage happen on Mars so Mars becomes the new Schlorrp even though it has human influences.

Hey Alycia! How are you doing? Are you Covid free yet? I love what you did with your hair! You blonde-ing your hair makes you look like a newer version of yourself (if that makes sense). I'm torn between fulfilling Yumyulack mission and Jesse's. I like to protect and defend the group (or innocent people), but would sometimes like to stay behind and keep track of what happens after each mission.

I've started doing that with all of mine too, juuuust in case. I know Elisa says that's what she does too. I have this really vivid memory when I was in highschool when we were writing essays on a computer and I hit a wrong button and my ENTIRE ESSAY ERASED and ever since then I have genuine anxiety around long messages getting deleted lol. So my heart is with you on this

I would easily choose Yumyulack's role. I'm a very protective person. Heck, my name technically means "protector" lol. I loved the nod to Superman's Fortress of Solitude from the Christopher Reeve films with the crystals and the floating head delivering their mission information. That was a nice touch. I can't believe Terry referenced "the rippin' and the tearin'" from that old Hedonism resort video. That made me laugh out loud. If you've never seen it, it's just weird. Don't do it lol.
