Love Willows new hair. Amity still has some issues to work out - glad to see that detail. Friendship issues arent as simple as Disney usually would have it. Love how the growth & redemption arcs seem to be so encompassing for so many different characters. Nothing new or exciting going on here - staying out of the heat. Love to everyone

I always love your reactions it was such a good episode. I'm going to recommend a series to you not react to but I think you'll like it's Netflix's The Sandman. It's based off a comic book that means a lot to me.

Oh girl, I totally get being consumed by thoughts of The Owl House (see a bunch of my past comments where I info dump about everything relevant to the episode)! As for what I’ve been up to, Big Brother, my one guilty-pleasure reality tv show, started a little over a month ago and I’ve become consumed. The show is unique because it’s filmed in real time and there are live feeds of the contestants that stream almost 24/7. And this has been the most exciting season in years! Now for my comments on this episode: Those breathing tricks have never worked for me, but I really appreciate them including it in this episode! Not only was it a nice little plot point to bring Hunter, Gus, and Willow together, but it’s also great to show the kids (and adults!) in the audience a tool to help regulate their emotions. Adrian reminds me so much of Double Trouble from She-ra. If you haven’t seen She-ra on Netflix I highly recommend watching it (and possibly reacting to it)! Gus and Hunter give me really strong Aang and Zuko vibes. They’re even the same ages, 12 and 16! The show keeps trying to act like hugs didn’t exist in the demon realm before Luz showed up—Eda calling it the “parallel arm thing” and not understanding it, Hunter asking what it was and Gus saying, “Just go with it”—but we have PROOF that hugs existed before Luz was there: in Understanding Willow the memory photo of Amity and Willow as kids showed them hugging! Anyway, that hug was a super cute moment and probably the first time Hunter has experienced positive physical contact. Im so glad he’s got a new little brother in Gus and a new…best friend in Willow. Also I’m so proud of Catgirl Steve (Dana Terrace) for getting out of the emperor’s coven and going back to the tiny cat coven! I gotta be honest I was so captured by this episode I barely listened to you lol. This was such a very well written episode with heart and drama and the visuals to boot it just sucked me in I'll have to watch it again to see what you actually said 😊 Glad Hunter is finally officially on their side it's been a long time coming but finally it has come to fruition! And I was so immersed in this episode I don't have a lot of analysis or predictions except for one question/prediction....do you think Belos will replace Hunter with another Clone or whatever they are that looks basically the same? Because from his point of view it probably wouldn't be optimal if it came out that basically his second in command or whatever has deserted him, not a good look so close to the day of unity! I have a feeling we might get a heartbreaking Hunter vs. "Hunter" fight. As to what's going on in real life...I had to have another surgery scheduled but I made sure I could at least finish solar opposites and the owl house with you lol...maybe that shouldn't be a priority in scheduling a surgery 😂 but honestly with the amount of fun and weird adorableness and comradery you provide me with each week kind of reloads my batteries for the week to take on the world and not be a complete anxious mess so I opted for pushing it a few weeks until at least the current run of shows are concluded because I don't want to feel left out. 😄

I've never seen Big Brother but I have seen Shera! I was hooked when it first came out! I love, love, love the character design and color palettes in the show. I have some issues with the Catra/Adora love story. I think it's toxic in a lot of ways and wouldn't have bothered me so much if queer girls had more/better shows to look to. But it's one of the few kid/teen shows out there that has that representation and I just wish their relationship would have been less.... violent? LOL That being said- still THOROUGHLY enjoyed the series as a whole, even the Catadora ship. Glimmer, Scorpia and Perfuma were a few of my favorite characters :) Who were yours!?

LOL! I love the honesty 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not offended one bit! These episodes really do just keep getting better! Actually it's probably not a bad idea for these last few to watch them on your own first and then watch my reaction- I mean, either way is great but there's soooo much packed into them you may get more out of both the episode and my reaction if you did it that way. Just a suggestion from the other side of the end of season 2 hahahaha!

I wish you so much luck with your surgery and hope it's nothing too intense/an easy recovery. Adora (especially Drunk Adora and Himbo Adora), Catra, and Entrapta were my favorite characters and I actually really love Catradora. I get why people are iffy on their relationship but for me I think the fact that they didn’t get together until Catra went through significant personal growth really makes a difference. I also think the fact that they were raised as child soldiers and severely emotionally abused by their caretaker makes a difference for me as well. Especially the child soldiers part just makes it too difficult for me to hold their relationship to the standards of our society. Also the fact that Etheria doesn’t seem to have therapy. The closest thing was Perfuma’s offer of guided meditation, which Catra didn’t completely reject. She just said “One thing at a time.” My headcanon is she took her up on the offer after the war. I think Catra’s arc actually has a lot in common with Zuko, though she definitely did some worse things than him. But Catra in the Crimson Waste was like Zuko in season 2, when they both had the opportunity to start over and cast aside the bad people who raised them, but instead chose to go back and resulted in a worse situation for the heroes. Then the final season they both work towards a more earned redemption and ultimately help the heroes win. I think Hunter in Eclipse Lake had a similar moment where he was offered the same choice as them and ended up making the wrong choice and leaving the heroes in a worse position (no key, only a fraction of the Titan’s Blood left). I actually view Catra and Hunter as very similar characters. Or rather, I think Hunter has a lot of Catra in him and a little bit of Adora (believing the cause he was raised to fight for us a righteous one).

Shoot, I was lowkey hoping you could react to it in the future. Okay, have you seen Arcane? It’s not a kids’ cartoon, it’s rated TV-14. Right now there’s only 9 40-minute episodes, but it’s seriously one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! It does have quite a bit of violence though, if that’s not your thing.
