BTW, been watching reactions that aren't as far along in the series. I forgot to include two clues in my list last week ... Eda's great-great-grandmother knew about "the human" on the isles. Could be family lore, but she likely would have also been alive prior to Belos becoming emperor (fifty years ago) so it's a weak clue. A not so weak clue that the Wittibanes and Clawthornes are linked is that Eda discovered the portal on Clawthorne property (or neighboring property ... the portal was outside what looks like the ruins of another house).

The portal still must have been close to the Clawthorne house since Eda was running away from home when she found it. Im still not sure Belos/Philip built in since he obviously didnt know he needed a key when he took the door from Luz. Since it was obviously abandoned and near the Clawthorne home, I guessing that Philip's brother (OG Hunter) built it in the first place.

Another BTW ... don't forget that when we first meet Belos, there's a giant heart beating above the throne. So is The Titan (King's dad ... probably at least a relative) truly dead?

The only reason why I say it might not be on Clawthorne land is because Eda says she didn't know "this," presumably the ruins of the house, were "back here." I would think an adventurous girl like Eda, in her teens, would have long ago explored every inch of her property. But, in a realm of magic, there are other explanations, like a cloaking spell that you had to be within a certain distance to see what's cloaked. Nonetheless, it indeed had to be close, which with all the other clues seems like too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence.

I gotta say this was a great one, but man, did I wanna just give King a hug THIS WHOLE EPISODE😭😭 omg yesss when he asked the Hunter to play catch that actually broke me, what a little sweetheart🥺💔 Okay little story time: So a good friend of mine had planned to take his partner to Turkey for a cute vacation. However the day before he was gonna surprise her with the tickets she broke up with him, how unfortunate right? and what timing😭 and because I totally don’t mind being a rebound lol and didn’t want him to lose all his money for the trip I’m gonna go with! Which is so exciting because I haven’t left the country in years!✨ so yeah I’ll just pop in and ask you a random question or something next week and I hope the next episode I miss isn’t a suuuuper good one ahaha😂✨ take it easy friend, thank you for always making my week brighter!

Did you hear King call Luz his sister? King wiped that little moon symbol off on Luz’s pants when he hugged her. 😿 At the beginning of the episode Hooty asked if anyone felt the marching around the forest. The symbol on King’s tag was the one from the castle tower where he was hatched. Also in King’s castle, that wall art showed a great battle, with someone who looked like a grown up King throwing a spear. Well if you look closely at that figure, they actually have human/witch hands. Presumably they were throwing the spear at an actual titan, though I don’t think we were shown the full image. And finally, remember in 2x08 when Hooty was trying to help King figure out what kind of demon he is? King failed the bug test and the biped test, and the beast test (which required a *blood sample*) was inconclusive. Ho..ly...shit 😁 I mean one of these days I was gonna fall for a red herring right? I still appreciated the shoutout though haha. Then again I mean my theory was so early on it was just one of the possibilities. When they went to the island I was shocked that maybe they were actually going to be the key but as soon as they started their "training" with King I immediately got a sus vibe...their training stuff seemed like stuff someone would do after only having heard tales of the original trappers like hundreds or thousands of years ago and almost all of it was lost to time. But the way Bill reacted when Luz asked how much he made up maybe none of it was ever true maybe he just made a deal with the Collector and everything else was just bullshit to further his goals. After this episode let me revise my theory now I'm beginning to think the Collector may actually be the key to solving all this, and King's medallion either protects him from the Collector or is some sort of bargaining chip to turn him/it against Belos because so far that thing seemed more like Bill Cypher as in he may temporarily align with you but only as long as that benefits the Collector in some way. For some reason my mind goes to a dark place thinking maybe King will sacrifice himself to make a deal with the Collector but if they ACTUALLY kill off King I'd be floored...I mean maybe he offers to sacrifice himself and it doesn't come to that but I don't know something in my gut tells me this could be a possibility. Man these episodes are one banger after another now, it's awesome to learn so much more each episode now but I'm also getting a little sad that we're almost to the end now! Btw I went shopping in a long skirt today for the first time and the whole time it felt exhilarating to not wear stupid man pants anymore but also the feeling of the wind blowing the skirt all around me definitely takes some getting used to haha it felt amazing and terrifying in about equal measure 😅. It was still super fun though and if I ever want to wear my other cute short skirt I bought this one should give me some good exposure therapy to get used to it 😉. So yeah that's what I did with my day, trying not to look super stiff walking down the street every time my skirt went wooosh in the wind 😆.

I love that Luz, King and Eda have become like a little family 🥺❤️ And I caught Hooty’s comment about the marching during my edit! It gave me chills! !!! And good observation on the blood test! Aaah, this show is amazing. There’s so many little details they’ve been dropping all along. It will be a blast to rewatch it before season 3 comes out and come across all these details again for myself. But until then I’m quite grateful to have you lol! Like Jordan said- I always learn something new!

Girl, of course! You deserved that shout out! Btw did I pronounce your name correctly!? I feel like your theory about King’s tag and the collector is spot on. I think they are absolutely connected in some way, but in WHAT way is still a mystery. Omg if they kill King I’ll stop watching the show (jk but I’ll be DEVASTATED lol) It’s always so bitter-sweet coming to the end of shows 😭🥺❤️ The finale episodes are always the best ones but then I’m always so sad when it’s over! At least we have one more season after this! And HOORAY FOR VENTURING OUT IN A SKIRT! I’m glad it made you feel so free and happy :D And yeah, the wind-scares never really go away lol. Sometimes I wear bike shorts underneath my skirts so I don’t have to worry about it hahaha. The sunsets dudeee…. just WOW!!!😍😭 Yeah it really broke me up when he told me, I couldn’t let this awesome trip he had planned go to waste, and since my ankle’s like 90% all good now I thought hey, why not lol! Probably not the ideal vacation he was hoping for, but I gotta say i’m proving to be a pretty good back-up date😂 He’s having fun and looking for the positives so hopefully I’m providing a good distraction till the wound begins to heal, and after a ferry trip over to Greece today and a tonne of drinks I’d like to think the process is at least starting💜 Thanks so much for the well wishes friend, I hope life’s treating you great too atm because gosh do you deserve it!✨
