Weird, it worked for me. I just wish that I could've watched along with the livestream but I was out with the future in-laws. I'm so happy that you were finally able to watch this movie Queen!!!! This movie was probably the first thing I watched that talked about dying when I was very young and I always loved the tender moment where Hogarth explains souls to the Giant! I knew Vin Diesel was the Giant but I actually had no idea that Jennifer Anniston played his mom lol!!! The whole time when you were like "something is gonna happen" I was like "it won't happen like you think it will, just wait until you see his battle mode lol!!!" But I'm so happy that you loved it and that you were able to experience this piece of our childhood!!! 90s KIDS RULE!!!!!! I can't wait to see what your next movie reaction is and I'm looking forward to joining you for that one as well my queen!!!!❤❤😉😉

Awwww no no no, future in-law time is much more important! But you were definitely missed on discord! I thought this film did such a beautiful job of explaining death in a way that's digestible for children. AND I DID NOT SEE BATTLE MODE COMING LOL! That was such a surprising moment! probably cause i saw it only a few hours after it being postet,maybe google drive got them bots to take care of copyrighted content,or i don't know.But enjoyed watching your reaction to it,that one tear at the end of it xD can't wait for the next one :D hopefully next time i can make it to the premier :) i know the iron giant is a classic and a great movie but i still think that the story moves too fast as everything progresses in a matter of maybe a few days or a week,which they couldn't portraite their relationship good enough as hogart didn't even give him a name :/

Your question at the end there really got me thinking. Like man, what DID this movie mean to me as a kid? It’s pretty hard to put into words if I’m honest. I know we’ve talked about escapism before on the channel and I don’t wanna turn this into some sob story but when I was a kid, movies like this were my whole world. My upbringing was kind of all over the place, let’s just say I didn’t have the most loving home life (not including the years I spent in Scotland with my nana those were full of love and happy memories✨) and looking back some of my fondest memories were those little 90 minutes where I could just live in someone else’s world for a while, feel my emotions and even learn what it means to be good and loving without bias! I strongly believe that beautiful movies like this to a large extent shaped me into the compassionate and caring person I aspire to be everyday, and if that doesn’t mean the world to me I don’t know what does. I seriously love getting to react to these amazing shows for the first time right along with you mate, it’s so rewarding to be able to discuss and enjoy these experiences with other people who truly care, but there’s just something even more special about getting to see you react to something I hold so dear... I’m nothing but grateful and I hope you know I’ll never watch this movie on my own again so thank you so much🌟🥺

I was not there for the live reaction. But when I heard Alycia start to sing a song from Beauty & the Beast in the first few minutes (my all time fav Disney), I was smiling the whole time. Never saw this movie but I did get emotionally invested.

I think I was 7 years old when I first watched this. I certainly enjoyed it and remember it fondly but it didn't really mean much to me back then. I've then re-watched again when I was 18 or so and I loved it so much more. I guess I didn't really appreciate it's greatness as a kid but as an adult, I always cry at the end, whenever I watch it. It's a masterpiece.

LOL that one glistening tear stole the show XD I totally see what you're saying about the progression but I suppose I didn't think much of it because it's a kid's movie. This totally resonates with me. I think this film is filled with adult themes that maybe wouldn't hit you as hard as a kid when you're just watching it for the cool robot and fun animation. But I think that's part of what makes it so spectacular- it really is for all ages. I had something similar happen to me recently when I reread the Harry Potter series. As a kid I just loved the magic and fantasy world but as an adult I was like.... wait a minute... this series has SO MUCH TO SAY about politics and love and grief and how did I miss this!? 🤣

Couldn’t have put it better myself mate their music really makes me wanna do that too!!😂 I absolutely love the way they outro CB too, hits me right in the heart! I remember the first song I ever heard from them was on a movie called The Wild, it might even be a Disney movie now that I think about it but yeah I’m pretty sure the song was Clocks! Have you listened to Talk, or Magic? Those are some of my other favourites✨
