I can't wait to hear your thoughts about this one! There was a lot of juicy stuff that went down!

PS After going in and editing this episode, it's SUPER obvious who the character was at the end that helped with the escape (trying to be careful with my wording for anyone who's watching along with me lol No spoilers!) But yeah, it's very apparent WHO was doing it... the only question that remains is WHY!? Any predictions? Let me know in the comments :D And also sorry I can be such a space cadet sometimes 🤣🙈

Yes, that was robot 100% helping the blue twins escape, and that's all I can say. Now the question that you should be asking yourself is "robot let criminals escape, so is he a bad guy as well?"

That comic Mark mentioned is real. Underwater Welder by Jeff Lemire. If you ever (or any other Dweebs) get a chance read it. Jeff Lemire is an amazing storyteller, and his own art complements the strange weirdness of it. Now séance dog is a funny story. It’s not in the comic, but it’s featured in The Walking Dead TV show. Carl wears it for the first season. Science Dog was what it’s called.

I love Amber she's a boss 😄 For a second I was convinced when Mark threw all his junk out of the window it would land on or next to her hehe. But that was just my shit memory we've CLEARLY seen multiple times that his window faces the backyard not the front door 🙄. Wow they really had to try hard to make that prison break possible. I mean first of all why would the little access hatch open on both sides instead of only opening on the inside once the outside is closed. Also why is the Keypad and scanner accessible from the access hatch just put it further away. And lastly why does it take a code to open the hatch but not to unlock the cell. Whoever designed this should be fired immediately 🤣 I know it's a bit nitpicky but it really bothered me to have that much stupidity in a highly secure containment facility. As to why they had help escaping I don't know...is it gonna be a teambuilding exercise maybe? Can't really think of anything else they seemed pretty lame and incapable in episode 1 xD What else can they do except clone themselves guess we'll find out. Oh yeah also your outrage and indignation in the beginning about Omni-Man was so strong I could feel it in my heart...I hope we're both gonna be ok after this show 😅 Lowkey the most upsetting thing he said was when he felt he NEEDED to clarify they weren't his friends they were co-workers instead of just letting it go..like that distinction would have been a great justification for his callousness. 🤨

I'm watching it with you for the first time, so I don't know how it ends, but I'm giving Omni Man the benefit of the doubt. I know it sounds INSANE, but we don't know why he did what he did. Maybe there is some crazy explanation that justifies why they needed to end up how they did. Maybe they were all corrupt or not really "heroes". Like, a theory could be they purposely let villains in so they could keep fighting crime and have a job. Maybe it was all for fame? Maybe there is some secret government plot which is why Omni Man didn't wanna join the crew? In Ep 1 we saw obvious resentment between Omni Man and the guardians. Or maybe he really is an evil dude and was jealous. Or he wanted to make his son the new leader and face of the new guardians. There's just too much unknown. I see you get upset every time you see him on screen and I get it, but I've read too many books and have seen too many shows/movies to know they can make any bad guy/villain look good and almost justify super heinous actions with a plot twist in the end lol. Sorry for the long rant but those are my thoughts and I'm so enjoying watching the series with a newbie like myself lol 😊

Ooooh no never apologize for an in-depth comment! And especially not one that respectfully challenges my view point! It's really cool to hear your response to the show and how you're choosing to take it fact by fact rather than jumping to conclusions. I think the reason I feel so convicted is because he just doesn't seem to be showing any remorse. He's really buckling down against Debbie and seeeems like the "bad guy". But I wouldn't be surprised if this show takes what we know and turns it on its head by the end... I'm excited to find out! And it will be fun to uncover it all with you and the others who are watching it for the first time! Glad to have you along for the ride :)

A part of me really wanted to see Mark get together with Eve since they both have to adjust to both being highschool students and super heroes but I think it's better that they don't. I may sound a llittle perverted here but the animators gave Amber a fat ass! I see why Mark wanted "study" with her lolz XD

I feel like Eve and Mark will be end- game. Maybe not, but I feel like their relationship is something that will come much later in the series. Or they could just be wonderful friends which would also be cool. And LOL honestly everyone in this show has an insane body- I just haven't commented because I'm like... they're also supposed to be 16/17??!?

Very true queen. Yeah being friends will be more beneficial to their relationship as heroes. As the saying goes, never mix business with pleasure . Especially after seeing what happened with Rex and Eve. And Right?!? I have a hard time believing that some of these characters are in their mid teens. They look like they're in their mid to late 20's at best . Just like with live action movies and Tv shows; the students always look like they're in their 30's lol.

It was pretty obvious that the original Guardians of the Globe were a Justice League homage, with their own Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Flash, and Aquaman archetypes. Now it seems like they are building an Avengers this time around with their own Hulk in Monster Girl, Shrinking Rae is similar to Wasp, Black Samson wears a power suit a la Tony Stark and Robot is an artificial body like The Vision. I hadn't really thought about it until this time around. Maybe I'm reaching. I don't really understand why Mark would pursue things with Amber after they had spent a little time together. She seems WAY too all over the place. I'm not saying he should pursue Eve. She was just cheated on and that would be pretty lowdown to do while she's so emotionally vulnerable. I just think he is moving pretty fast with a girl who never really gave him the time of day until she started seeing him hanging out with Eve. I suppose teenage hormones and thinking analytically rarely go hand in hand. Lol
