So remember last week when I said I was hopeful to start getting reactions out to you guys earlier?

I am so happy to announce that for the Invincible series, you will now have access to my Full Length Reactions 1 WEEK earlier than they are released on YouTube! I know my Rick and Morty schedule was all over the place and you all were so patient with me; the literal least I can do to repay you is to give back now that my schedule is less hectic.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed this is a schedule I can maintain for future reaction series as well, but I can at least guarantee it for Invincible! I'm so excited to be back to weekly reactions with you guys, and I hope you're enjoying the show as much as I am! :)

Ok after this episode I'm hooked :D Before I was like eh it's ok but I'm starting to get into it now. Curious to see how this unfolds Edit: Ohhh...when the head agency guy was explaining what happened Debbie had this look on her face like either she suspects something or she KNEW something because it happened before. I wonder if I'm just seeing things guess we'll find out eventually :D

Jason Mantzoukas is the voice actor of Rex Splode if you've seen the The Good Place, he's Derek, and Adrian on Brooklyn 99, Dennis Feinstein in Parks and Rec.

I'm not certain if you caught it or not, but there's a tell when Hellboy ... uh Etrigan ... um that demon guy shows up. See if you can catch it if he shows up again. As for whether I've seen all the episodes ... yup.

Boy where do I begin. First things first, Hi Alycia! You look beautiful as always and I hope you had a fantastic week! With that being said, this was a wild episode. A lot of the new characters reminded me of some of the characters from Marvel's Avengers. Eve reminds me of Scarlett Witch as their powers are dang near identical! And Robot reminds me of an offbrand version of Iron Man. Also the portals that the invaders came out of reminded me of Doctor Strange. As one of your fellow dweebs who has seen the season already I have to tell ya that some of your theories and predictions were spot on! But I'll give you a hint that will be crucial towards the end of the season. Pay close attention to what Omni-Man said to those invaders. Anyways, great reaction as always queen and I look forward to next weeks reaction! Also, I didn't know you were a drinker lol. Whats your favorite thing to drink? =]

I have seen the entire show and also had some similar thoughts about Mark Rex and Eve’s “love story”. It did seem a bit played out in this episode, but well you’ll see. I think the 2 things that intrigued me the most was how Mark is going to have to quickly adapt not just to how his powers effect him but also how they effect others. And Omni Man’s actions

Proper white lightning is about 180 proof, or 90% alcohol, and can be used both as a beverage and to clean the rust off your tools.

It sounds like you and I have/had similar opinions about the episodes and characters so if you feel Rex and Eve's narratives progress then that's encouraging to hear! I'm honestly so excited to watch more 😍

I'm a disappointment to the family in that I can't stand alcohol, so obviously I stay away from the moons...legally distilled home liquors. I'm partial to hard cider and so-called "girly drinks," like Buttery N*ppl*, Bahama M*m*, and so on, where the alcohol taste is minimal. Haven't had any of any kind in more than a year though, kinda fell onto the wagon.

Don't know what shows you watch in your personal life, but I figured those were the most likely shows you'd know him from lol just as a guess. He has a distinct voice and plays a good quirky overly sarcastic jerk. Just out of curiosity which show or shows did you recognize him from? All 3 are great sitcoms I think you'd enjoy. Not saying react to them or anything just from being a patreon for a while I could gauge your sense of humor.

The Invincible comics executed some old super hero clichés really well and also did a lot of new things. However, there are certainly some parts of the story that have aged poorly, such as the role and agency of women in the story. On the good side, the writer of the comic is also the showrunner for the show and he said that there is a lot of things he wants to improve and "update" for modern times. He jokingly explained that he was a 20-something white guy when he wrote the story in the early 2000s and he is a much better writer now. Also there is a writers room for the show so there are multiple voices contributing to the story. Without getting into spoilers, I think the show does improve and expand on a lot of things from the comics while keeping the core of the story in tact.

I'm so happy to hear this! And it's really cool to know that's something the creator is aware of too. I always get encouraged watching shows/movies now VS shows/movies back in the day because the overall representation is so much better. I think Debbie, Eve and Amber are all badasses and I'm really excited to see what the show does with their characters...and the rest of the characters too!

Love the Hellboy, Etrigan bit, when I read the comics I couldn't help but notice the similarities though to me He's more Etrigan meets The Question.

Oh, I don't think anyone mentioned it, but just in case you missed it the garbage bag at the beginning was the one Mark threw into orbit in episode one and lead to a heartwarming Father step son moment.

I watched season 1 before you started reacting to it and i hear Britta to, but just if she is not in hero mode. Some of your ideas and predictions are pretty interesting. Glad to be watching you again, haven't in a while.

I have seen the show all the way through a couple of times and I have read the series, but I'm still 100% here for the ride. I believe Atom Eve's icon is electrons spinning around the circle in the symbol for woman as though it were a nucleus. I do wonder if it's a coincidence that her name is basically Adam and Eve, which represents a starting point for all humans and the atom is the basic starting point for all matter...not to mention that little cross in the symbol for woman.

OMG! You sent your response as I was halfway through your episode 3 reaction and for a fraction of a moment my mind felt like it was being twisted like wringing out a wet towel. I thought, "Wait. How did she...? She has literally just been watching Invincible the entire time!" And then I immediately was like, "Hey, dummy. You're watching a video." It all took place within a matter of seconds, but I was actually perplexed for a flash of a moment, which rarely happens. I think full-length reactions may be a bit too immersive...or I'm just going cuckoo -LOL
