Yeah it definitely is on the gore side unfortunately. I hope that you are able to enjoy it and handle it because even I was a little squimish (don't know if that is how you spell it) when watching it. Can't wait for your new reactions Queen!!!

I love it for the gore. By which I mean it's one of the few superhero stories ever that recognizes what superstrength would do used against regular human beings. Think about how much force it would take to send a grown man flying through the air, delivered in a single punch. Such an impact would certainly shatter his rib cage, rupture his internal organs, and force blood from his mouth. It's just physics.

It’s not as bad as something like The Boys, but it fits the story. If you want, I can make some edits to some of the episodes. I’ve recorded them for something else I was working on, but again. It’s might not be something you’re totally ab,e to sit through, it’s show that has surprisingly amazing emotional depth. All I can say is you can do it. You’re strong Al.

Yeah, that's why I didn't vote for Invincible, it didn't seem to me to be something you'd enjoy. BUT, since you've comitted to trying, I suggest you not make your decision whether to continue until after the SECOND episode.

From someone who read the comics, and knows Kirkman’s mind (creator of the series/writer for the first episode), I was genuinely surprised how the story was treated. Even though I had known about the ending of the season for years, seeing it played out made me almost tear up. Not to mention there are a lot of awesome voice cameos. I’ll make the dweebs a bingo game to see if you can figure them out. (Some of the things I’m making are sort of like this, but maybe this is also a good gateway of sorts?)

This makes these upcoming reactions much more exciting to watch! I cant wait to see how far you're willing to stomach(literally). I'm glad you didn't change your mind even after the dweebdom informed you on whats to come. Truely a one of a kind queen! I feel you have a strong enough stomach to watch all 8 episodes but (spoiler warning) I recommend watching the last episode on an empty stomach. It gets mentally and physically sickening.

Before the poll I had heard practically nothing about this show and what audience it was created for, so I feel a lil bad voting for that one now🙈😅 it just looked really cool!🤣 I’m gonna be one of the idiots who says give yourself more credit mate! I’ve seen you stomach some pretty dark shiz on this channel and although I have no idea what I’m in for with Invincible, something tells me you got this dude! Although saying that, absolutely no worries if you don’t like it or aren’t feeling up to watching the whole thing, I know I’m gonna like any of these show options because the dweebdom picked them out! I was happy to do any of the 4 shows listed anyway so either way I’m gonna have a big smile on my face the whole time😁✨ also lastly you could NEVER disappoint us mate! you do way too much and are way too kind and lovely to be a disappointment in anyway to anyone that’s for sure🌟 see you soon for the Rick and morty finale!!!!😁✨🔥🌟

Yeah...I kind of stayed quiet in this poll because I was so on the cusp about whether Invincible was going to be too much for you or not. I actually read the whole series at the start of quarantine because I had been hearing good things for years. It had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good story. The show takes a few liberties with the narrative, but captures the artwork amazingly. Unfortunately, it also does a pretty good job of capturing some of the brutality of the book, as well. That's not to say it has grotesque amounts of gratuitous gore, but when someone gets injured they don't sugar-coat the consequences and that presents the occasional visceral shock. It's not constant and it seems to exist to simply allow you to feel the intensity of a situation, but it is probably more than most people expect in an animated series. You really will have to watch and judge for yourself whether it's too much for you or not. I feel like as long as you find the story interesting you'll probably find the more graphic shots simply shocking in the moment rather than completely off-putting.

Honestly at this point I'm kind of just looking forward to seeing what I can handle 🤣 I think as long as the show doesn't feel super heavy or dark for the full 40 minutes I can do it! Like... with Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. I love those shows, despite the gore because that's not what the show's *about*- it's just sprinkled in here and there to serve the story and the world. And if that's what Invincible is like I can totally do that! But if it's like watching a Saw movie... I'm probably out 🤣

Oh, no. You're going to be just fine. It's pretty tame compared to what your expectations have been raised to. It just that moments stand out more when you see them for the first time in full-color animation. I think the majority people just weren't expecting that from an animated superhero show. You'll definitely have a reaction, but if you can handle the intensity in those two shows you can more than handle this. You can relax a little.
