You assign gender to inanimate objects based on the way you intend for them to act, so ... that ... um ... I think maybe I should stop right here.

I think it's something we all do subconsciously. With me, it's something I don't really notice until it pops in my head days, months, or even years later. Like with Tuba from last season, I knew she was a female by the way she took care of Hazel. If you catch yourself doing it, it's fine.

Dudeee I get full on CHILLS every time I hear that intro it really is the best, so simple but so impactful✨ This episode was really cool! I loved the old western design of the car and the score was so brilliant!! It was sick to see their take on music like this as their usual style is a lot more modern and electronic for the most part, so yeah this was really great for me!😁 Seeing Samantha is ALWAYS a treat she really is the heart and soul of this train✨ On the subject of The Cat and something you mentioned about the origins of the train, it really got me thinking and I just wondered if anyone knows how old the train actually is? I don’t think it’s ever been clearly stated in the show and I haven’t looked into it much myself but I’m sure on my last rewatch of season 3 The Cat mentions something to the effect of not having had a vacation for centuries? I might’ve got that mixed up but it just makes me wonder how long has 1:1 or whoever created the train been doing this for? To descend even further into certain madness because I’m sure we’ll never get any answers to these questions😅, how do you think the train chooses people? They’ve made a point of showing people from all different walks of life with completely different issues and starting numbers so it could be just random I suppose, but that seems way too easy of an answer lol! OH MAN NOW I'M GOING TO BE THE ONE THINKING ABOUT THIS AT NIGHT LOL! Yeah, the reason the train picks people still seems so illusive to me. Like, obviously it's because they're going through something in their lives that needs attention. But how do you compare trauma? Like, Hazel's parents going through a divorce might be the biggest thing happening to her at that point in her life, but later down the road will she have to learn to deal with grief like Amelia, or societal pressure like Grace? Why does the train choose WHEN it does? Does it ever come back for people? And I imagine it would be hard to know how old the train really is because it seems that time works differently on it than in our world. MY HEAD AAAAAAH lol!
