I asked at the end of this week's review who everyone's favorite character is, but I know I already asked that question on Patreon a few weeks back 🤣

SO A DIFFERENT QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS!

Do you have any predictions for season 2? Or what are you hoping for in season 2? I'm hopeful that we continue to learn more about some of the characters we got introduced to at the end of this season. I really like Metal Bat, Atomic Samurai, and of course Mumen Rider!

I know some of you have already seen the show all the way through, so no spoilers lol! :)

Knowing her she’s watched Soul as much as the next person( maybe even more than you! Lol) And Blankets...not yet. (She’s my niece, and I know she has my log info on her tablet to watch you.) She just turned eleven, and I may be a cool uncle, but even though it does depict life in Wisconsin to an almost capital T, she’s not ready for that yet. Lol

And yes, you did recommend it to me last year. Almost to the date I think. Lol. My niece’s birthday was today, and I just haven’t seen her much in the last year due to COVID and her mother...Wanted to see what kind of dweebish things we could think up of, but I might just get her my old Clow Card book...even though a lot of them are missing, and the book...and sword....lol

As far as books for her age Harry Potter is always good, oh Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy or the Discworld books would do well. As far as movies, when they're at that age it's hard to know what to show them, if it's not too over the top show her Gremlins and Gremlins 2. The Neverending Story is always a good one. Labyrinth or the Indiana Jones movies. With my Nephew who's 14 for the last several years I've paid his XBoX gamepass account as his birthday and Christmas presents, it evens out at around $120 a year. My other nephew is 7, I bought him Pokemon Sun this past Christmas. (he's not actually related to me, but his dad and I have been best friends since I was 7... I'm 40 now so basically family lol. I have another niece and nephew and I haven't bought them a Christmas present yet, I'll get them one in Feb. they live literally across the country from me and are very young, so that's that. I see them once every 3 or 4 years so a late Amazon gift from a relative they don't really know is just good stuff till their older. (I ask my youngest sister what they like and make purchases based off that. Last year was "Hatchimals" bought them a dozen to split amongst themselves. They're still like 5 and 7 years old so simple toys for them, because that's what their mom wants.

I'm considered something of a gift giving expert, I manage to buy my best friend, who hates to read books that he actually likes to read, and party games that fit his sense of humor. The one time I bought him a gift he exchanged was a movie he exchanged for a different movie he thought he'd like more. Years later after finally watching the movie I had bought him, he straight up told me that my original choice was by far a better movie. My choice was Dark City, he exchanged it for Deep Blue Sea lol. So with enough information about interests I can give you some pretty decent guesses. I love books, movies, tv and games, I'm autistic, I have a talent for absorbing media and recommending things to people they might like, it's my odd super power lol

2023-01-15 23:04:49 I tried to get her into A Serious of Unfortunate books, but it was around the same time the Netflix show started, and she gravitated toward that (even though to help her read more I got the audiobook that had THe Tim Curry narrating) but since I’m her semi unofficial guardian (she made a certificate with glitter) I have been trying to get into other things. Harry Potter she knows by heart, but might just take her to B&N for MHA stuff. She already has a Todoroki wig. Lol

MHA is definitely a great way to go. I love that series, maybe introduce her Shaman King, it's got a reboot coming up. You could get her a HP wand. Just throwing out ideas. I know how it is to want to spoil your nieces/nephew lol. Especially if you're like me and have no desire to have children.

It's going to have to wait now. I just heard she lost her internet privilege's. Which disappoints me, and makes me curious. So, I just have to wait for her gift for my birthday.(May just be another glitter card, but it will be worth framing.)

I'm laughing so hard because you reminded me that we made a wood wand from our yard, and pretended to cast spells. She thought I was a Boggart, and kept saying the spell, but I wouldn't go away, so she took her wand and started hitting me. She kept saying Riddikulus! Riddikulus. She broke her wand on my head. She cried, and I couldn't help but laugh through the pain. I do want kids, but that's up to the wife. I do want to adopt at some point, but I don't know why I'm putting that information here. lol
