Which season of Infinity Train was your favorite!?

It was a hard pick between 1 and 3 for me. They both had enough mystery to them (that I thought was a little lacking in season 2) to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Season 3 blew me out of the water, but I still have to go with season 1 as my #1 pick. It's the one I could see myself rewatching over and over again.

Although... I wonder if it would still have the same excitement now knowing the mystery behind Tulip's number?

I'm excited to see what you all choose :)

Probably 1. They were all great, but simply by virtue of being the first season, season 1 had that great mystery element to it that kept me guessing all throughout it.

Honestly, I have to pick season 3 just because it was the culmination of seasons 1 and 2. I see them as parts that come together to make a whole. Just my opinion.

I think season 1 was the most enjoyable, even though the mystery would be diminished as of the other seasons. But I think the cast was perfect and it felt like a very concise short story. Season 1 could be its own mini series, whereas seasons 2 & 3 would have to be add ons due to the other concepts built upon

This is super tough because I absolutely loved season 3 and it’s unique characters and story, but there’s just something so amazing about that first season! Lil old Tulip and her brilliant adventure with OneOne and Atticus just set up the whole show and everything to come after perfectly! Plus it was great to be just as clueless as Tulip and to figure it out as they did! I feel really bad leaving out season two though as I really enjoyed Lake and Jesse’s time on the train too! It was also really awesome to get a look into the induction process on the train and how that all works! Basically I love them all so much for different reasons but if I was forced to choose one it’s gotta be 1

I think when it comes to series, and comparing their other seasons to one and other is somewhat arbitrary. I like season 1 as it showed us the world, but it takes a lot get viewers invested. Even though I agree with some of the comments here, the mystery does fizzle out, but there's a difference between the character driven stories and reactionary characters in the world that you already have a sense of, not all of, but enough to know how things work. Even though Jesse and M.T. were good with their own tale of identity and self worth, Season 3 showed that even if you're on the train, your problems can only be solved if you're willing to do the work. Plus, I am sort of a dark person, and like seeing the different aspects of stories, especially if they are family/positive backgrounds. Like how much I love Coco being a good metaphor for death and family. It's in the same ball park as Hereditary almost. Take that as you will. lol

I actually liked the story for S1 the best and S3 the least. S3 had a slow-burning reveal, which is compelling; but Simon's actions were always so heartless that it would leave me feeling curious in my head and hollow in my heart. Where S1 revealed the story like a flower unfolding in its bloom, S3 seemed to reveal itself like a trash bag slowly tearing and then completely ripping apart. It was definitely the most shocking storyline, but since most of the appalling moments were caused by the protagonists it made it really hard to care for them until Grace learned to care for something bigger than herself. At least with S2 I was empathetic to M.T.'s emotional journey.

Tough choice, but I will go with season 2. First I really liked Lake, second it did explore rarely asked question, usually found only in hard sf: what constitutes a personhood. And I think it had biggest emotional payoff in finale.

You guuuuys! All of your reasons were so insightful! I really loved reading them! And it's proven, yet again, that watching these shows is 10x more fun with my fellow dweebs! I love these conversations, and a lot of your comments made me look at the seasons in a way I hadn't before.
