I'm not gonna lie, this was easily the best episode of the season. I'm actually more into the wall story than the aliens' shenanigans, because there's still humor in it, but I'm drawn to there being actual development within the story. The aliens, while funny, are also just a little bit too wacky if you know what I mean. I think that's why I prefer Rick and Morty, there's always humor but also a lot of character growth for everyone except Jerry XD I think it's important to show the contrast between the former Duke, who took power for himself and became corrupt, vs. Molly's guy, who was a CEO that became a commoner and was satisfied with that change. Also for Tim, who used the Resistance to take power when he started from nothing. Shows how influence affects people

I almost skipped this reaction because I didn't know if I could go through the Molly storyline again, but I knew the wall revolution also took place so I pushed through. I believe Tim's betrayal wasn't something that he had brewing inside of him. It was only when access to the outside world became a factor. Tim's vision was about building a better world for the people inside the wall and the only way he could do that was if the wall was secure. People would be at the bottom of the food chain outside of the wall as he mentioned and the same could be said if other things came inside, I'm not saying what he did was right, but I think the picture became much bigger when he saw this was an option that Cherie was all too keen for and he needed to cover up all leaks, including the metaphorical ones; for the greater good. He thought he was making the most virtuous choice. On the plus side, Cherie has survived a fall before. Perhaps the Duke saves her and they reach an understanding. He does have intimate knowledge of the highest areas of the wall...

This is a great analysis of it and better helps me understand Tim's reasoning!
