These episodes are an interesting couple ones for me. First, I gotta say I love the messages in both. In "Princess Turdina" we have a strong and clear message that being true to who you are and believing in yourself is the best way to live and I completely 100% agree. it was heartwarming seeing Marco being accepted even after he was outed as a boy, and I think I cheered the first time I saw Heinous get booted out on her ass. Also poor Gemini... He gets treated like a doormat every single time we see him and yet he keeps coming back for more. And Starfari... This episode I didn't find nearly as entertaining despite having a great message of acceptance and ending racism on Mewni. I think mainly its because I find Dr. Goodwell so annoying. I know she's there to serve a purpose and show how backward Mewman views on monsters are, but God is she annoying. Still, gotta love Buff Frog becoming the new monster expert. I suspect he'll becoming an important ally for Star as she attempts to right the wrongs of the past.

Princess Turdina might possibly have been my favourite episode this season. Marco pretending to be a Princess is one of my favourite things ever. I love how he’s super uncomfortable one moment, and then totally getting into it the next, lol. The new St. Olga’s he created is SO much better, and I loved his speech at the end. Also, I find it kind of hilarious that it was a single hair on his chest that proved he was a boy XD. What did take me pleasantly be surprise was that the Princesses still supported him. It makes sense – like the one Princess said, Princess Turdina is a state of mind – but somehow, I wasn’t really expecting it. I really liked that. Even though we were at St. Olga’s, it also took me by surprise to see Ms. Heinous return, and the reveal at the end was super creepy. I’m guessing we’ve found our new main villain, now that Toffee’s out of the picture. Like you said though, maybe she should wait until Rasticore is fully restored. I like that Starfari really dealt with the idea of monster racism. It’s a topic that has been touched on before (mostly with Moon), but this is the first full episode that really focused on it. I loved Star pointing out to her mom, all the weird contradictions about what makes someone a monster, lol. In fact… is it just me, or was Star, like… extra cute in this episode? The way she said things, her expressions, and seeing her in that fat monster costume, I thought were really cute. Dr. Jelly Goodwell was an… interesting character, lol. While it’s clear that she means well, and wants what’s best for the monsters, the way she goes about it is… not the best, since still wants to keep the monsters separated from the Mewmans, when they should be working together. Lol, and it was hilarious at the end, when she just went full crazy and embraced… monsterdom. I agree with you about Buff Frog. He really has had an amazing arc, and he’ll be the perfect Monster Expert for Mewni. I hope this means we’ll see more of him from now on. Also… I found it weirdly hilarious, that Dr. Goodwell apparently put that EXTREMELY OBVIOUS tracker on him when he was a tadpole, yet this is the first time we’ve ever seen it.
