Line Catcher felt pretty real to me. Whenever someone I haven’t seen in a while comes back into my life, I always feel kind of awkward, like Star did. I mean, it’s great to see them, but it’s also difficult to know what to say or do, since it’s been so long, and we’ve both kind of been living our own lives. Of course, Star also has the whole romantic element added to her confusion, with her having feelings for Marco, but currently being with Tom, and Marco previously being with Jackie Lynn (and yeah, learning that it was HER who dumped HIM)… It’s no wonder she feels so weird about him returning. But yeah, the ending was really cute, with Star making Marco her squire, and giving him his own room. Oh… and Marco’s middle name is “Ubaldo”? Why did that crack me up so much…? XD BTW, I was thinking Eclipsa’s lipstick looked like her tongue sticking out, right when you said it, lol! Trial by Squire was fun. Like you said, it shows how much Star has matured since Toffee, but also that she and Marco can still have fun together, which was nice to see. On top of that, it was just funny, with the whole… squire-off, lol. Those other squires were so mean, but at the same time, when Higgs explained WHY she didn’t like Marco, I could kind of see her point. It was also just funny so see the different ways they would screw over Marco, lol. Though, it was also satisfying at the end, to see her so pissed about them having fun. Those 3 may technically be better squires, but Marco & Star have something they don’t have with their knights. Definitely had some Gravity Falls flashbacks with this episode. As you mentioned, the gnomes looked like the ones from Gravity Falls, but also, Marco’s obsession with organization reminded me of Dipper. I dunno.” – Star “I knew those squires were up to something. They don’t want me to have the good stuff.” – Marco “Marco, I don’t-” – Star “Yes. I see it now.” “I think you’re making them out-” – Star “I’ve got it! We’ll outsmart them. We’ll just go out of order. Hahawhatawaytogetahead!” - Marco “Are you calling my squire a liar?” – Sir Stabby “Uhhhhh… Yes…?” – Marco “What?! I’m not her boyfriend!” – Marco “Interesting. Stray observation that just occurred to me ... I think that little demonstration with the flames and butterflies during the dance in Club Snubbed were to show Tom and Star being in sync. I think this episode was written to do the same thing, showing Marco and Star being in sync as well in their "dance" battling the lint monster. One wonders which would be more important to a rebel princess with fists like hammers ... or does one?
