I hope everyone is having a great week so far! 

My apologies for the pause in the middle of the reaction! I hope I did a good enough job of getting everyone synced back up. The FaceTime actually ended up being a call from one of my best friends. She felt so bad lol!

2023-01-15 23:13:25 Don't worry, Alycia. It was easy to resync. :) A couple lighthearted episodes after the big battle with Toffee… yet still very emotional. I’ll admit, as much as I would have liked to see Star & Marco return to Earth together, I kind of like that everything isn’t just right back to normal. I really liked Star & Marco’s goodbye scene. It was sad at first, then became both touching and funny, with Star constantly “accidentally” getting in Marco’s way so he couldn’t get back to the portal, and finally left on a note that just made me laugh, with Star finally getting impatient and just saying “OK, Marco.” XD Star recognizing the different smells in Marco’s hoodie was also funny and touching, as was her desperation to hold onto whatever piece of Marco she had left be REFUSING to get it washed. Though… I have to admit, I was KIND OF relieved to see it finally get washed at the end (if my dirty hoodies looked like that, I would wash them far more often, lol). Oh, and that cleaner was a HILARIOUS character! I love how seriously he took his cleaning job, treating it like some holy duty, with that full suit of armour, and his dramatic speeches and voice… He cracked me up! Especially seeing him play off of Ponyhead, who is like, his complete opposite. XD And Glossaryk’s back! Awesome! Throughout that episode, I wasn’t sure if they were actually going to bring him back, or if this was just going to be about getting closure with Star. After Star’s speech at the end about how much she appreciated him, I thought that was a nice way to wrap things up, and that they wouldn’t be bringing him back after all. I love how his return was just kind of a last second revelation, lol. That was hilarious! There was also a bit of dark humour in there as well, as the episode started off at what was supposed to be a memorial for Lechmet (RIP)… and then just kind of tossed him aside, and became all about Glossaryk, lol. Poor Lechmet. BTW, Mewnian funerals seem… interesting, to say the least. And of course… we got Janna! She’s always great, and I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve really seen much of her. I just love how knowledgeable she is about different types of ghosts (because of course she is), and… that zombie head?? WTF??? (I mean… not that I’m surprised she would have one XD) Also, I loved how she understood Star’s incoherent screaming, lol. Favourite Quotes: “Oooooooh! Darn it! That thing smells like feet!” – Ponyhead “I know, but… it smells like Marco.” – Star “I’mawareofmyactionsandI’msosorryfornotalwayshavingyourbackandIhopewecanmoveonandgrowasthebeautifulprincessesweare.” – Ponyhead “Wait, what?? You thought I was gonna KILL you?? Over a hoodie?!” – Star “Is… that not what is going on here…?” – Knight of the Wash “No…! I was gonna MAYBE turn you into a duck, or boop you on the nose real hard!” – Star “You don’t need to hold on to those stinky hoodies anymore, you know why? ‘Cause, like, what we have learned, is that Earth turd scent is, like, in your heart… or whatever.” – Ponyhead “Oh, hey, Star’s upside down in the punch bowl.” – Hekapoo “Oh, not again…” – Moon “You know, when I was a little girl, and there was something I couldn’t let go, my mother taught me to say ‘baloobalee, baloobalo, I let you go, I let you go’, and I always felt better afterwards. Oh man, all these quotes are too good!!! XD I'm glad the resync wasn't a problem! And I have to agree with you about keeping Star and Marco separated. Even though it makes me sad, it would have been pretty anticlimactic if everything just went back to the way it was before the Battle for Mewni episodes. Thank goodness he has his interdimensional scissors!
