I really enjoyed both of these episodes. Both were crazy and hilarious. I also have to say, I found your reactions particularly entertaining this time. Especially when you imitated the Mewni people’s voices, and how intensely analytical you seemed to get about Star’s mother. And yeah, good point about Star not just conjuring batteries – For whatever reason, I don’t even think of stuff like that. Mewni actually seems like a really fun place to live, lol. I find it hilarious that all these upper class people take part in such crazy, high-energy games. I really enjoyed the Mewni people. Again, something about those over-the-top, snooty English voices and phrases just always cracks me up. I especially loved the guards who, although completely silent, exuded so much personality with their expressions and gestures (especially when they kept intensely pointing during the argument at the start). It was also nice to see Star’s relationship with her mom develop, as we haven’t really seen them together much. I have to say, if more detentions were like the one in “Girls’ Day Out”, I would have set fire to my school’s cafeteria far more than just twice (Er, wait… I mean… you didn’t read that!) Though she hasn’t appeared all that much in the show so far, I always enjoy Janna. Her softly intense voice, hilarious lines, and just overall strangeness, make her a totally unique kind of funny and weird, and yeah, she and Star made for a perfect team of weirdness and hilarity. I have to say though, in this episode, Janna was almost upstaged by Ingrid… What is that girl doing to that poor bear? I hope this isn’t the same universe as Toy Story… Aside from those things, I found Star’s dumbstruck reaction to Oscar hilarious, and I loved it whenever they cut to the janitor just standing there staring at the camera, while chaos unfolded behind him. All grown up and playing flags!” – Star’s dad “Star, you’re never going to believe, but I just met your twin sister. She was made out of corn.” – Star’s mom “She’s bored! He’s bored! He’s bored! Marco is definitely bored!” - Star “Don’t bring me into this!” – Marco “Every election is fake.” – Janna (actually, pretty much everything she says is hilarious)
