And the dynamic between Star and Marco in episode B is so sweet!!! I love how good Marco is to Star. Their relationship is ALL THE FEELS.

First of all, let me say, yeah, that theme song would be a great alarm, lol. Starstruck was a very interesting episode, and I really liked Star’s development in it. Like you said, it was interesting to see another outerdimensional Princess. I think it was a bit of a “this is what I could become” story for Star. I said at the beginning that Star was a character I could see becoming annoying if they ever went too far with her personality. Thankfully, they haven’t yet – They’ve been really good at keeping her at JUST the right level to be really endearing, but not annoying. However, I think Mina is basically what Star would have been if they HAD gone overboard. Though, that’s not to say I didn’t like the character. She was actually very entertaining in the role she was given, and I’d definitely be interested in seeing more of her. On top of that, this episode had a LOT of great lines, and I loved the one guy who was trying to push for a vote on Mina as the ruler. XD Camping Trip was a nice episode for Star & Marco. It’s nice seeing their friendship (and maybe more??) develop. Also, I love the episodes with Star’s dad. He’s one of my favourite characters, and I love their relationship. His interactions with both Star and Marco in this episode were particularly enjoyable. And yeah, his internal monologue during the “staring contest” was hilarious (it was such a “dad” moment). Also, Marco’s parents continue to be a treat (Star’s right – the paintings are way better than a slideshow). Favourite Quotes (there were a lot of them this time): “Boy… What a weirdo.” – Marco (that’s EXACTLY what I was thinking) “Lesson Number First!” - Mina “Where’s my camera?! Where’s my telescope?! Where’s my sketchpad?! What the heck is that?!” - Mina “Which ones are yours?” – Woman at park “Ugh… Those two.” - Marco “Oh… Bless your soul…” – Woman at park “You know, when they turn 18, they’re the Government’s problem.” – Woman at park “Imagine if you randomly found your idol one day… and DIDN’T follow them around.” - Star “KNEEL BEFORE YOUR NEW RULER!” - Mina “Okay.” – Random guy “Magic does exist. I repeat, magic DOES exist.” – Cop “CATACLYSMIC, TOTAL EXTINCTION DEATH FLASH!!!” - Star “Since when are you too cool for piggy-back rides?!” – Star’s dad “Marco!” – Star “Marco!” – Star’s dad “You’ll always be my hero… because you’ll always be my dad.” – Star (This line made my eyes tear up…)

Oooooh I love that insight that Mina is like a cautionary tale for Star’s character. I never thought about that, but I agree! If Star’s behavior tipped just a liiiitle bit more in the “annoying” direction we would have had another Mina on our hands! And LOL the woman in the park lines are GOLD 🤣🤣🤣
