HI HI HI HI HIIIII my fellow watch-along dweebs :D I really missed you guys! I decided to release this full length reaction a day early 'cause I feel bad that I left you hanging last week. 

I hope everyone who was sick like me is feeling better! I can't wait to hear your opinions on these episodes! The end of episode A got me right in the feels! Episode B was.... interesting... lol!

Glad you're feeling better Alycia. I hope you continue to feel well, and I hope you, and everyone else here, has a great 2019. 🙂 I didn't do much for New Years, honestly. Just a quiet day with my family. Well... And I stayed up late, listening to the audio commentaries on my new Gravity Falls Blu-rays. As for resolutions... The only one I made was to get a job, lol. 😛 I'm looking to become a 3D artist for video games.

As for these episodes: Mewnipendence Day might have been my favourite episode so far. I really liked the focus on Ludo and his henchmen. “Wait, who’s side am I on??” I know, right?? I was thinking the exact same thing! I was oddly kind of rooting for him to grab the wand in that moment. There’s just something so endearing about how incompetent Ludo and his henchmen are, that I actually kind of want them to get a win for once. I also liked how Ludo actually seemed to feel bad about banishing that henchman. Plus, the fact that there’s now a serious villain among them, makes them all the more loveable. Toffee is a pretty cool villain. He’s very calm and manipulative, and has a really cool voice. I’m definitely interested in learning more about him. I never noticed his finger either. Definitely curious about that. I'm thinking you're right about him being involved in that war. And yeah, I really liked how Star left corn for that guy at the end. “Life! Liberty! And corn.” XD “Wait… but you just blew past all the important stuff!” - Marco said exactly what I was thinking! The Banagic Incident was… weird. Like, even for this show. There was definitely some hilarious stuff in it, like Star high-fiving a random person, and Marco’s reaction to realizing he was still standing on the coals. Also, the expressions in this episode were particularly bizarre and hilarious. That said, Star went back and forth between funny and annoying for me here. I’m used to her being over-the-top, and taking things too seriously, but it felt… REALLY exaggerated here. And her behaviour with Marco at the start felt a little TOO self-centered. Oh, well. She was still just funny enough to stop me from getting TOO annoyed. Also, yeah, I really didn’t get the ending…

Mewnipendence Day is definitely up there as one of my favorites too! And yes you said it perfectly- I just wanted those poor guys to have a win for once lol!! And you also hit the nail on the head with Star going too over the top in the Banafic incident. She definitely was more annoying than funny and endearing in this episode. But yes Marco’s reaction to standing on the coals was so good 🤣 the way they cut away mid- scream hahaha!
