I actually read somewhere that the meaning of the name Somun is "little door" and it makes sense because he's like the door/bridge between the world of the living and Yung. He's literally the territory, explains why he was also able to hear their voices up there and spirits are involuntarily sucked in. When I first watched this series, I bawled my eyes out on Ms.Chu's big scene. But I actually had a hope that she will be revived since theyre still doing a CPR. No flatline yet. And when she and Suho swam back towards each other, that was when they decided to hold onto each other and fight for their lives, so I wasnt surprised when she came back. Also amazed on how they were finally able to show us her backstory in such emotional scene. For Kim Jeong Yeon's scene, I'm also with you. I was only expecting like a car will crash into her and shell end up in a coma. A sudden death like that was shocking and heartbreaking. This is one of my fave episodes actually, so your reactions are relatable. This series in general blew a lot of people's minds. Everyone's just excited for the season 2 soon (July 29). P.S: You being a teacher makes sense now with the way you talk and with your vocab. Sorry for blabbering. See you on the next episode!
