TickleTickles Championship - Character Rankings! (Patreon)

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, and the field for the tournament is now set! Based on their abilities, I’ve ranked all the characters from 1 to 16 (just my opinion – don’t hate me!) and that will decide who faces who in the bracket. (#1 vs. #16, #2 vs. #15, etc.) 

Rankings:

1. Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender) – The queen of mean! A skilled fire-bender, Azula is evil, ruthless and cunning, and will stop at nothing to crush all foes in her path through whatever means necessary, including the most devious of tickling methods. Is she even ticklish?! Only her opponents will find out.

2. Blackfire (Teen Titans) – Almost Azula’s equal in the ruthless department, Blackfire knows a thing or two about manipulating others, and combined with her Tamaranian abilities, could easily seduce the rest of the field into terrible tickle torture. Also hates Starfire, and will stop at nothing to humiliate her little sister, or anyone else who gets in her way.

3. Toph (Avatar: The Last Airbender) – A powerful earth-bender known for having extremely sensitive feet, but good luck getting close enough to touch them, as they’re also her greatest strength, allowing her to sense incoming attacks and respond in seconds. Toph might be blind, but she doesn’t need to see to tickle her enemies senseless.

4. Raven (Teen Titans) – An extremely powerful goth-girl, Raven rarely cracks a smile and even has a dark side that can throw tentacles at you in seconds! Exposing her sensitivities might be tough, but deep down there is a gentle soul hidden away, and perhaps the most evil ticklers can get her to crack.

5. Starfire (Teen Titans) – Cute. Adorable. Impossible to hate. Starfire is one of the most lovable superheroes, and tickling is actually a form of Tamaranian greeting, so she knows a thing or two about probing certain weak spots! But at the same time, her sensitive personality is legendary, and she could fall prey to the more ruthless ticklers. A good all-rounder.

6. Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender) – A caring, sensitive water-bender, Katara has trained herself to manipulate water at will, making her a very tough opponent in a tickle fight, and difficult to get near for a surprise attack. She's one of the few to ever defeat Azula, but handling all that water must mean her hands are very soft… and so are her feet as well. 

7. Mirko (My Hero Academia) – Mirko is tough, powerful, and doesn’t back down, but her spirit animal is the rabbit, so her feet must be huge! And probably very sensitive too.

8. Harley Quinn (Batman) – As the Joker’s right-hand girl, Harley Quinn knows exactly what goes into forcing a laugh out of her victims, giving her tickle skills an edge over some of the others in the field. Her strength isn’t the strongest, however, so she could be overpowered by enemies resistant to her seductive charm.

9. Rogue (X-Men) – A sassy seductress from the south, Rogue can drain the energy of her opponents and render them unconscious by touch alone, but is that very useful when the goal is to make the opposition laugh? On the other hand, her enemies might want to tickle her at arm’s length.

10. Kida (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) – Probably the toughest Disney Princess going, Kida is a powerful warrior and far from a pushover, with centuries of combat experience. However, she walks around barefoot constantly, and when your feet are that exposed, you might be asking for it from the more powerful ticklers out there.

11. Alex (Totally Spies) – A sporty spy who can sneak up on others for a surprise tickle attack, but also not the smartest girl in the room. Could be tricked into a tickle situation.

12. Glimmer (She-Ra) – Glimmer has the ability to teleport, which might be useful for getting behind opponents and giving them a quick tickle under the arms. Comparisons have also been made between her and Starfire. Starfire isn't happy. 

13. Bulma (Dragon Ball) – Bulma has made a lot of inventions in her time, and that means bad news for anyone who makes their tickle weaknesses known. However, she lacks superpowers, and is probably very sensitive herself.

14. Haru Okumura (Persona 5) – Shy and reserved, so definitely a sensitive girl, but also very skilled with weapons. However, is she skilled with tickle tools as well? That is the question!

15. Jessie (Pokémon) – A big hot-head, but Team Rocket is rarely successful. Unless tickle torture is Jessie’s true calling?

16. April O’Neil (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) – A classic tickle victim loved by all. In other words, the rest of the field will be dying to get their hands on her.

So there you have it! Every week, there’ll be a vote for each tickle fight, where you get to decide who you think would win, and then I’ll draw the winner tickling the loser! The winner advances to the next round, and whoever is left standing at the end will be the first ever TickleTickles Champion! I've included the full tournament bracket so you can follow along with all the action, and it'll be updated with every new match result. (Can anyone predict the full bracket?!)
